Objectively speaking, other players are flawed too and make the mistakes our stars make. But I don't care about them. I care about whether or not our stars perform to the best of their abilities for us to WIN. I won't comment about other players' flaws much 'cos I don't **** care about their team. I don't know how else to explain it.
If this is an unreasonable stance as a fan, then *shrug*.
The unreasonable stance is ONLY speaking on other players good and be quiet when they make the same mistakes. Not even simply saying how good those teams and players are, you guys say the Celtics should be more like them or I wish Celtics would follow their lead.
Hali took a good shot to win but he won a game on a terrible step back from a fumble a couple weeks ago.
You can say whatever you want, but so can I, and I’m tired of all the love other teams and players get but no one says a word about the those same teams doing the same bad stuff Cs players do.
I’m saying it now, so I’ll have to wait and see if people still say it, but I guarantee people would say, if OKC wins, how GREAT a coach okc has as opposed to Joe as if he didn’t make TERRIBLE decisions in game 1! You can take many games both of those teams have lost and or even stole/won and show how the coach made bad/wrong decisions.
Everybody is great when the Celtics don’t win. We beat the same amazing Pacers team last season, but they were somehow bad when we played them… you know our “cake walk?”
Again, it’s not just you, but why are these team and players gushed over when they do well and we don’t, but no one talks about how they do the same trash things we do? All I had to do is remind you of that same terrible shot, that Hali happened to make, and we had to have this entire convo. You started the tangent.
I actually like Pacers and OKC too, they both deserve to be where they are. I just don’t feel the need to puff them up while dragging the Celtics.
All Celtics fans want most of the players to get better, that’s really a moot point.
We are different. And that's fine. If you think of "us" as worse fans, that's fine too. Too each their own. You can voice your opinion, no one's stopping you. But you also can't expect every other fan to think exactly like you.
Don’t put your own words to what I’m saying. Plenty of fans don’t think like I do, I have even had conversations on here when someone says someone isn’t a real fan. If you say you’re a fan you are to me, doesn’t mean I have to agree with every stance you make and same for you with what I say. I have even argued for a poster who many people on here don’t like, name doesn’t need mentioning, and they have a totally different opinion on most things.
I’m not questioning whether any of you are fans. I’m questioning the confusing stances y'all take at times.
Again, the only thing I said when you shaded the Celtics with the shots Hali (probably Shai) got, is that he takes the same shot you complained about. I’m telling you that it’s only praised when they make them.
I’m not mad or anything close, I just feel some type of way when people act like Celtics players aren’t Himothy too. If We only chimed in on how great Tatum is when he’s playing well, on another team’s forum, especially when their team isn’t doing well, I’m sure people would argue with us about it.
