People assume he will coach a certain way cause he's young.

Thibs was once young too.

yep. nothing but endless body and ball movement. no isos at all. kolek gets 30 minutes.
Nobody has even said we're interested in him. It's all fan driven.

Not funny my man. I thought as a collective we were gonna not do misogyny on here?

Not tone deaf here, so I'm going to assume your comment was ironic :D

it's a lot to ask of a 1st time coach to have to make the finals. no even fair to expect that of him.

I would rather take a risk on someone that is unknown rather then someone that is known and not good.

This stuff used to be fun… I don’t remember it being such a roller coaster like this.

1: Mutual interest with Kidd/NYK
2: Dallas has given Kidd permission to meet w/ NY
3: Kidd is considering the NYK opportunity
4: Dallas isn’t going to give NY/Kidd permission to meet

Wait… what… the… phuck?

Guarantee you if Bryant doesn't play 10 or 11 the same guys who hated Thibs will hate him. They want to be Cleveland, Indiana or OKC regardless of the roster.

No one is asking for an 11 man rotation tho. Playing 7 guys in December is dumb as sh*t and I'm glad Leon Rose agreed.

Guarantee you that Thibs defenders don't want nuance in your answers MrDollarBills! They only want to compare themselves to Cleveland, Indiana or OKC regardless of the roster or schedule or situation!

You either get a young assistance coach ready for a promotion or you get someone who has been fired before.

Its not like Spo is walking in the door.

so anyone who has been fired before is not any good ? all those young coaches will get fired soon enough too. very few coaches last long.

5. Knicks considering Jay Triano for head coach
6. Dallas has given Kidd permission to meet w/ NY
7. Knicks now considering Jay Triano for associate head coach
8. Dallas has decided to stop picking up the phone

This is how the rest must go.

I don't think it's finals or bust. Not being a pain in the ass seems to be a core qualification.

your speaking in code sham...what vet coach are your referencing that doesn't have a job right now is really good option?

Malone? - we have no interest (rightfully so)
Mike Brown? - that would be comically bad
Taylor Jenkins - I guess he would be worth an interview but not sure he's a fit.

I know your big on JVG...I just don't see the connection with our FO. Has there been even an ounce of a rumor that a reunion would be possible?

Frank Vogel?

Grizzlies fans hate Jenkins. His team had the worst perimeter defense that led to a bunch of open threes, and he’s generally known as a good developer of young talent but bad at the Xs and Os. I would safely cross him off the list.

Thank you Nico!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Or Leon was 1 step ahead and knew all this time they'd get denied permission by the Mavs and he was never their #1

Just a total smokescreen to lowball Bryant
How is Bryant getting lowballed? He can ask for the moon now.

Of guys I'm aware of, that's the top of my list too.

Well, I'm also a Cassell advocate but he doesn't seem to have traction anywhere.

Regarding Jenkins, he's kind of like a reverse Thibs (in terms of style) where people have essays against what he does but he gets results.
