He’s the guy I want as well, although I think it will take moving up to around 24 or so to even have a chance.

Maybe not, but this team as constructed lacks wings.

I don’t think it’s a lock anyone draft at a 41 makes the team.

Also not a lock the JK is on the roster

Jimmy, Dray, JK, Moody, Buddy, Gui will play all of our minutes at the 3/4. We don't lack wings, we lack wings that can shoot since our best 3 aren't good shooters.

JK will most likely be a Warrior to start the year. There's really no S&T that Lacob would accept. There's no one that is going to offer JK a large contract that we won't match. If we can get a rim protecting center that can shoot, I think Dray would go to the bench to see if JK can start. Horford or Jaylin Williams for the NTMLE.

I guess I should’ve said athletic wings. Right now we only have one on the roster in JK.

Jimmy and Draymond are both more of a four on defense and neither one of them space the floor.

Moody is OK and GUI is meh.

I also don’t think Draymond is interested in coming off the bench. At his exit interview he said he wanted to play the four but said he would play the five if it meant he was starting.

RJ Luis actually does sorta appeal to me. He's got legit wing size. 6'6" barefoot 210 lbs and nearly 6'11" wingspan. Good athlete (34 dunks; stl% > 2). High usg > 30% indicates he's comfortable handling the ball. Shooting is iffy but his 3pter popped this year and FT% has been consistently ok.

Like I said, shooting is iffy. These are the kinds of tradeoffs/risks you take in the second round. But he has a lot of other stuff going for him. If he hits it probably looks like Aaron Wiggins.

Tonje is another guy I hope we workout. Super weird but interesting statistical profile and he's a strong athlete. Lead the entire NCAA in FTA and shot > 90% on them. :o We could use that ****.

Yea he’s interesting. It really comes down to his shot. We really can’t afford to have another wing that can’t shoot.

I’d say we can afford to have a second round pick that can’t shoot. There are guys who can definitely shoot that won’t ever see the court.

I think there will be a good player at 41. Really think it should be a guard or a big though.

I always liked Javon Small. He could be a GPII type.

Anyone think max shulga will be able to defend in the nba? Good shooter with a good ast/to ratio and can generate some steals

GP2?

Doesn’t have the wingspan or the athleticism.

Does have PG skills.

Yea small is much more pg than wing defender like gp2 became.

I just want someone who will make the team and could earn minutes.

I wanted the Creighton center but with lots of folks headed back to school, looks like he’ll probably be out of reach.

That's fair and he only measured 6'1" at the Combine. Still, 13 dunks at that height and 40" vert.

I like Amari, but he kind of gives us more of the same stuff looney does. Solid defense, should be able to switch some probably not as switchable as looney was. Good passer. But not a great finisher. He’s obviously much more athletic than looney.
