I don't see anything to support the conspiracy you're implying. Musk did "meddle" but by literally bribing people to vote and by dumping hundreds of millions of dollars behind Trump. Using his platform to amplify pro Trump anti Biden sentiment. His retweets get tens of millions of views.

Or do you think he's going on twitter and publicly admitting to hacking the election, shooting himself in the foot with a ballistic missile...

Something about Occam's razor...

Musk and Trump both seem capable of shooting themselves in the foot with a ballistic missile. They both seem like manifest destiny, might makes right, the end justifies the means, I am the greatest and can do no wrong types. Lack of clear, smoking gun evidence shouldn't negate a perpetual suspicion that the two most powerful people in the country could or would, regardless of whether they actually did. They don't get investigated because the justice system has been weaponized so much as they get investigated because they constantly act guilty.

What was it that Musk wanted to get his fingers in for 3 months, and then walk away. Because it had nothing to do with government efficiency. Its proven his efforts have cost us more money than it saved.

Or, Musk is an egomaniac and thought he could do the same to our government as he did to twitter. Walk in and fire 90% of the firm. Believes he can shave 2 trillion until he realizes that's not the case. Oops, now the number is 150 billion. Except it'll cost that, maybe more, to fire everyone, as you said. Leaves Washington with a ruined reputation and his tail between his legs.

Everything about him points to this being the case. Guy thinks he, and only he, can save Western Civilization by having as many children as possible. "Donated" his sperm to a powerful Japanese businesswoman. He has what the kids call "main character syndrome". I don't find it nearly as suspicious as you do that he thought he could "fix Washington" and he's the only one that could do it.

And that wouldn't end Trump anyway. Trump supporters and their traveling goalposts already planning on how to rationalize or deny damning photos/videos that Musk, Putin, Assange, Anonymous, etc. release.

If liberals want to double down on election conspiracy theories that’s fine. It’s a free country, still. But do I need to point out the irony?

What irony? That’s their entire playbook: to accuse the opposition of doing a thing, then try to do that exact thing. Claim weaponization of the justice dept. Then weaponize it. Claim overreach of presidential power in executive orders under Obama , then break the constitution by doing so.

The fact that they are inoculated from suspicion by smirky dismissal of ‘conspiracies’ is a side benefit. But the first departments they DOGED were offices of election security. Torpedoing information sharing and defunding cyber security agencies. Placing the entire dept on administrative leave.

https://www.democracydocket.com/news-alerts/cisa-puts-election-staff-on-administrative-leave/

Snark does not substitute for wisdom. The suspicion is worth investigation. If there’s nothing to it, then like trump the allegations will be dismissed or disproven in a court.

Me I’m 100% certain they tried to game the system in non traditional ways. Spending $ and amplifying false stories proved insufficient against Biden. The stakes were too high to rely on the American people to be convinced. I know in 10-20 years when a forensic analysis is done if this era there will be stark light shed in the shenanigans that dirty actors got away with. Weve played that game in other countries elections. Why not internally.

Yeah Trump already did it in the 2016 election with Russia.

Gov. Newsome threatening to end CA payments to fed treasury in retaliation for Trump cutting off fed grants to CA. As I suggested. The end game of all the stupid stuff Trump is doing is secession of the states with all the wealth and jobs.

There will be bloodshed and it will be the fault of the scum who voted for Trump.
