Before we get heavy into this discussion, can a few Cleveland fans (that are level headed and realistic) that are in-tuned with the Cavaliers finances tell us what they might be looking for?

Positions?
Archetype?
Salary range?
Depth?
Picks?

Talent that will help them win immediately. The Cavs have 2 years to get under the 2nd apron, so there is no rush to move Garland this year. I would prefer a 3. Trey Murphy could work. He has good size for a 2 and I believe he can play the 3. That is the type of player the Cavs need.

Someone here mentioned a swap of Garland & Franz Wagner could be really interesting both fans may hate it. Unfortunately it doesn't solve Cleveland's depth issue due to how expensive this team is

Nico Harrison proved you can never say never, lol.

Seriously though we already have one small guard in Maxey we don't need another. So no interest.

If Atlanta calls Cleveland this off season and says “we will offer Trae Young for Garland” the Cavs say yes

But if Memphis calls and says “we will offer Ja Morant for Darius Garland” the Cavs say no

So.. OP.. i think you should also "sell" Garland to prospective buyers. So list down real and honest qualities that they will be getting.

Size Strength Position Attitude Locker Room Health etc etc

To the 76ers, he's worth nothing. To other teams, it depends what they would be looking for. A team like the Timberwolves,Rockets,or the Magic can really benefit from someone like him.

Why would the Cavs want Young? You get older, ever smaller and worse defensively, and get MORE hero-ball from the guards, FURTHER freezing out their bigs. Stuff that...
