Just like Tuesday. Walked the first batter... although it wasn't 4 straight balls.

No one has tried to steal against Francis all year because they know a 2 run home run is a good possibility.

3 outs so far, 3 walks, 2 leadoff walks.
Going to need some luck to get through this one.

Man pull this bum Francis. We're gonna be outta this game if he stays in. The only pitch he can locate is the fastball

Having Francis make another start was just pure faith and wishful thinking. He’s shown nothing to deserve another start. You’re basically playing with a 3-4 run handicap

Not sure if they had any decent choices for today.
Couldn't do Lauer, couldn't do a bullpen game, and Shatkins has resulted in no reasonable options up from AAA.

The Jays have days off on Thursday then next Monday. So that's the time to figure something out. That gives the Jays a lot more flexibility to figure something out until his next required start which would only be Saturday June 21, assuming they use Lauer/Bullpen as the #4 starter . (Lauer, Bullpen Game, Minor Trade).

Ump doesn’t even need to check francis for foreign substances because he’s so ass.

2 miscues by the Twins defensively even if they don't get counted as errors have lead to runs. Wallner's dive (aggressive line) in the first led to the Clement run... and Correa's bad flip allows Bichette to score.

We need this type of good luck if we want to win a Francis start.

Also way to go Kirk!

He doesn't have a single pitch to get major league hitters out. What are we doing here at this point

Schulman didn't exactly bring up great immediate replacement options unless Scherzer decides he's ready to try again.

Spencer Turnbull has an ERA of 9.95 in Buffalo, and an ERA of 7.13 in his 5 minor league games (Dunedin and Buffalo). Apparently the Jays have to call him up tomorrow under terms of his contract or he becomes a FA... unless Turnbull mutually agrees to stick around Buffalo a little longer.

Adam Macko has only pitched at the Rookie Complex, and has a mediocre ERA of 3.63 at that level.

Move up Lauer, and make a minor trade for a semi- competent 4th/5th starter with an ERA around 4.00 this year.

If you want to win this game, you got to get the bullpen up and ready. I do not want to see Francis Start another game for this team. Guy's command has been horrible all year, including today. 5 walks in 3 innings already, and you are lucky the Jays are leading by 1 run right now.

The last line is what you have to do. You have to make a trade for an okay 4th/5th Starter. You have a glut of Outfielders that need playing time (Clase, Roden, Davis Schneider, etc.). Package one or two of these guys with a lower level prospect or two and get it done.
