But I think they should just bring back the OG jerseys because I honestly think those have legitimate argument for best looking NBA jerseys of all time.

Meh. It's better than last year's city version, with the off centred Raptor and childish font, I wasn't a big fan of that.

I think this jersey would look so much better if the Raptor was red like he normally is, wearing a white jersey (for example)

The Raptor definitely should have been red. I get that they specifically (I assume) wanted it to wear the red championship jersey, but the white Raptor just looks weird. But this is also why the Raptor wears a jersey and shorts that aren't the same colour as its skin.

If we’re talking about the logo and the jersey’s we’ve had over the past 15 years, it’s a pretty huge downgrade from what it was in the VC era. We need a re-brand so bad.

To us....... No one in NY, Madrid or Shanghai gives a crap about #WeTheNorth, they don't even know what it is. That was for us, and yes, it was effective. That part of it doesn't have an impact outside of us. Visual branding is way more important in the grand scheme and the Raptors suck at it. Even with Barney... Bitove and Thomas will always be idiots to me, that's NOT A RAPTOR! It's like the Blue Jays having an ostrich in the logo.

They teased us, they had the cohesion between WeTheNorth and those NORTH jerseys we won in, and then it vanished. WeTheNorth today is worthless.

I live in Madrid now, and go to a lot of European cities.. whatever, but Vince Carter is still the branding for the Raptors outside of Canada. 20 years later, and he's still it. I don't hate that he's a recognized part of Raptors history internationally. but there's seriously nothing after him. We're a team with one of the worst monikers, it is what it is, but own it. For example... "Penguins" was ridiculed to death... But they owned that they were Penguins, we don't own that we're the "Raptors".

The goal with any branding in sports today is to appeal as a lifestyle brand. No one is wearing the current Raptors crap in that way. Some Barney stuff from Mitchell & Ness with the Carter and McGrady jerseys sells, but that's it.

"Hey Mom, what's a Raptor?" .... "Well, It's another name for a basketball in Canada"

We have THE WORST jerseys/logo/branding, maybe in all of sports. Really the only debate to have on the topic is who's worse? San Jose Sharks? LA Rams? (no, I'm not down on the Rams because Aaron Donald made a beast play and broke my heart)

We're well into the recursive 2000s fashion nostalgia and this is the result.

They're really tied into the red/white Canadian team branding and that's what they wanna push even though I'm sure lots want a return to the purple as the main thing. And I don't disagree. It's part of what set us apart as a unique identity even apart from the other franchises in the city.

Anyway, the team are due for another refresh on things but that seems years away.

I don't care about these city jersey's because it's just a yearly cash grab for all the NBA teams.

I like the idea of going with the more distinctive purple. I'd go with these for our primary:
