Not at all. Gamewinner aside, Haliburton aint doing s*** that game. And he can't do anything this series. He's gonna watch Shai consistently drop 30 on his head.

And you're so confident in this because of one game.

No it's based on evaluation of past performances and future projection. Tell me what Haliburton has shown thus far that threatens OKC?

Yeah Haliburton has been bad in both games so far. He was ineffective in game 1 too, Nembhard was their primary ball handler in the 4th in game 1, Haliburton did hit the winner though. Hes putting 0 pressure in attacking the rim and that's a problem.

SGA is looking unstoppable, Haliburton isn't in the same stratosphere.

heroics aside, haliburton (he has something going for him late games when teams are worn off) is expected to be blanketed this series. okc held him to his lowest usage rate all season.

Hali had an 8 point game against the Knicks too. He disappears sometimes. Of course OKC guarded him well but he does this against every team.

Some people called him a superstar which was an insane take. Only superstars are Jokic, SGA, Giannis and Luka.

Yeah it's comical that this guy feels like Haliburton poses any threat to OKC's defense when they've dealt with actual perimeter players who pose rim-pressure issues (Edwards, Murray, etc) with relative ease.

Haliburton isn't that guy, theatrics aside.

He disappears because he doesn't have the athleticism/skillset to consistently put pressure on defenses. He is a pass first player not by choice, but because he has to. Guy had 5 points through 3 quarters last night, he's been a complete non-factor and will continue to be.

People were saying he was better than CP3. I always considered Hali to be a poor man's prime CP3. Lesser scorer, much worse defender but a very good passer.

Pacers are just a very balanced team with elite coaching.

Apparently "bagless" is an NBA adjective now haha.

Yesterday Hali was a superstar. Today he's an upright vacuum with a HEPA filter.

Haliburton can't shine prime Chris Paul's shoes. Chris Paul was an MVP level, tier 1 superstar in his prime.
