Airbnb has plenty of houses in the mountains. I did one way up a mountain in North Carolina a few months ago. Tiny home on 5 acres on the side of a mountain with about a 20-30 minute drive to the nearest store/gas station. Was epic. Never met anyone allergic to grass. That wouldn't be fun.
