He's been out of the NBA for 3 years. Last time we saw him, he was averaging 7.8 fouls and 5.8 turnovers per 36. He hasn't been an NBA-level basketball player since he tore his achilles in New Orleans in 2018. Teams gave him looks for another 3 years and then that was that.

Oh yeah, your average MAGAloid didn't know the difference either. That's why the USA is currently flushing it's hegemon status down the toilet right now

I swear some people just want to watch the world burn. We really need to teach people decency and civility both online and in person, especially during sports games.

As for Little Rock, most people don’t know all of America’s territories. Some people probably think Guam is an independent country not realizing that it too is part of the USA.

True. Let them both go at it and see how the little dweeb ends up.

Cousins should have never got physical, but his overreaction is par for the course. What really gets under my skin is fans that overstep boundaries and antagonize guys two times their size. They know these guys cant retaliate and love to act tough behind some a wall of security. Every one of those fans that threw a beverage at Cousins deserves to get their bell rung.

Cousins is bad people, and so are those fans. They belong together.

Cousins made $91 million in the NBA so why is he playing in a 4th rate league for what I'm guessing is NBA 10-day contract money? Did he burn through those millions and now he's playing just to survive? Or does he love pro basketball so much that he'll play anywhere? I'm guessing the former but I don't want to jump to conclusions.

Cousins was not right for reacting like that, but that is some piss poor crowd control.. particularly at courtside

Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

Not saying he would be a good player, but he had enough talent to stick around. HR was with Milwaukee earlier in the year and looked like a solid back up big, but we let him go because he was **** in the locker room. Just stupid stuff like supposedly blowing up that someone stole his watch from the locker room when it turns out he left it at home. Despite this, the nuggets picked him up and he was a mental disaster in the playoffs. Was he great? No. But I have zero doubts he would be a roster if mentally stable.

It's crazy that Demarcus Cousins hasn't even turned 30 yet.

That's not true but you believed me.

Imagine how good Cousins could have been if he had a different brain.

Seems like other former nba guys play in that league too. I guess after retirement some players take random gigs to pass the time and make a little bit of cash. Cousins is 34 yrs old, what is he gonna do sit at home all day?

I also would not be surprised if some of these guys need the money.

This is false, the consequences were available but the guy that got slapped wasn't willing to go toe to toe with someone twice his size

He was going to get as much of a look as Dwight Howard was.

Yeah, he's been cooked for a minute. To be fair, he was a little overrated by volume scoring output to begin with even at his peak. And once he couldn't even be that guy, people tired of his attitude in a HURRY. Denver didn't even keep him around for bench depth during their 2023 title run, they let him go after 2022.

Would have been awesome if he had a better mindset, for sure. He had the physical tools. Power, mobility, could shoot a bit, saw well enough to pass decently, was in the right era for this style of play... Just too much of a hot-headed fool, sadly.

You lose all empathy when your response to a 5 footer giving you the crying face is to grab your sweaty dick and nuts and try to touch their face. Demarcus should use his brain for the first time in a while and leave PR before he escalates the tension any further.
