Negotiating with Ainge is like negotiating with a terrorist so he probably doesn't get moved unless a team really gets desperate. He's going to want something similar to a Gobert/Mitchell package and he's not worth that.

I like Markkanan and if the cost is 9 + RJ or something like that, I would do that. But I doubt Ainge would.

We'd be in cap hell with two tall shooters who can't guard their shadow, pushing Scottie out to the perimeter on defense. He doesn't fit here at all. At least KD would get playoff calls.

Them winning a title overshadowed the fact that this guy still cannot stay n the court. Missed 64 games in his 2 seasons with the Cs, and that is excluding the playoffs, where he missed games in both years there also.

Thats why most fans, shouldnt be GMs. Just few months back, people were still complaining why masai hasnt gotten him. Well his injury history and lack of defense might be the reason.

Porzingis has played more games than BI over the last 5 seasons (so has AD, OG and most other guys that we constantly make fun of for being injured). I personally love the BI trade but lets not go praising Masai for something (avoiding injury-prone players) that just isn't true.

I dont like the BI trade because of that reason, but one example doesnt mean its the rule. I think the upside on BI is worth the risk in masai's mind. The only other example is Kwahi, but thats on an entirely different stratosphere of quality of player.

Porzingas may fit in for us but I haven't been able to construct a deal that works with the Celtics that allows us to get him with their picks.

Finding the teams with the right incentives is tough and I can only do it with a 5 teamer as everyone wants to save money.

RJ to the Bulls, Vuc to the Lakers and Ayo to another team's MLE, or small contract (the Kings looking for guards), Kleber and Vincent to the Cs (saving them 7+mil), Porzingis to the Raps. Picks go wherever.

If they want to trade Garland, its because they dont want to pay 2 small guards big money and think Ty Jerome can replace a lot of what Garland does at half the cost (maybe even less). Dont think they'd have any interest in IQ

Precious is not being brought back by the Knicks. I would love to bring him back for the minimum if possible.

He could be an ideal 3rd Center who could still be a good backup too. Although watching him and Mogbo together would be hilarious for the wrong reasons lol.

The fact that he couldn't see court time on a team with no depth speaks volumes. That scrub Payne was playing over him. I stand by my claim that this guy is out of the league by age 30.

Horford may or may not retire. Porzingis is gimpy. Celtics likely take a big with their late 1st pick. They can't afford to pay Kornet, so getting him will further weaken their front court.

After this season, Boston is not a ring-chasing destination so wouldn't get a premier vet C to take the min to play there. Let Boston sign Drummond for the vet min.

Likely not take mins from Trayce Jakson-Davis, who is behind Post and Draymond.

Teams like Washington, Chicago, Brooklyn, Philly, or Charlotte should sign him to a 1 year deal.

The main issue with Precious here was that he was almost always paired with Boucher, and that was a BBIQ disaster on the court.

If Precious is one of the smarter guys present on the court, that's also a disaster since he'll do way too much. Precious with Josh Hart/Brunson and DiVincenzo (at the time) wasn't so bad. A team like Golden State definitely makes sense for Precious

I think a prospect (Dick? Walter? Ochai?) or maybe a future pick could do it (I wouldn't give up #9). They move to IQ's cheaper, flat 32.5M deal - which really helps them with their 2nd apron concerns. They get a guy who is the same age that is a bit bigger, production was in the same ballpark, and likely better suited to playing alongside a much more ball-dominant Mitchell.
