OG would get a lot of open 3 pointers, since teams are going to be forced to collapse in the paint to stop Giannis.

OG open 3s. KAT super efficient scoring. When we moved the ball around our 4 top guys often all scored 16-18+ ....it'll work.

I think the rotation can be a bit more balanced if we replace Hart with Harrison Barnes, and then bringin Bruce Brown to fill the Hart role at a cheaper price. We could really commit to a 5 out lineup for significant parts of the game. Hard to figure out what we want to do without knowing who the coach is first though.

He's already won the NBA championship with the Bucks, I don't see him pressuring the Bucks to play elsewhere like NY.

Bruce Brown is nowhere near Hart. Not in the same universe. Check the stats. Might as well say bring in Elfrid Payton to play PG instead of Brunson. :noway:

I want to see this team with a different coach. Bridges mostly underperformed during the season but he also had some great games including when Brunson was out. He had some great moments in Boston series. No matter what you say about the fit, KAT and Brunson were both all NBA. They also had decent chemistry at times especially at the beginning of the year. More importantly, with these two, you can always put decent offense when one of them is on the bench. OG was probably the most consistent and had a great season. Mitch contributed once he was healthy and you can’t really replace him with that salary slot. Deuce is still young and cheap not to bring him back. I suppose we can find a better fit for Hart’s spot so maybe that is what we should look at but he also had some great games and was one of the more consistent players on fast breaks, going to the rim and hustle plays.

His lease in this board's head was apparently renewed on the cheap.

We have good but not perfect players. Everyone, including JB, had their low stretches. But there seem to be no obvious replacements any better out there available. Maybe with a new (different) coach, playing Precious to spell bigs at times, playing Shamet and Wright to spell Mikal and Hart, and picking up an affordable Mitch-annual-injury alternate we can just pray everyone is healthy again and reach the finals. Or rehire Thibs.

I can roll with a new Coach and the same core returning for one more season...

Start: Mitch / KAT / OG / Mikal / Brunson
Bench: Hart, Huk, Deuce, Kolek (or McCullar)

9-10 man rotation.

A great coach can get us to 58+ wins and the #1 or #2 seed in the East with a legit shot to make the finals since 99.

Lol if Giannis was going nowhere the reports would be much more definitive. Just like ths Kidd talks. If Kidd wasnt going anywhere the Mavs would have shut it down already. Giannis language is not a shut down , case closed, definitive language at all

Read the tea leaves folks...

At minimum sides are open to talks. Nothing may come out of it at the end, but there is most definitely offers being made.

If Dallas is going full rebuild as some are speculating......Houston wanted Bridges BAD. Mitch becomes their shutdown big counterpart to Sengun.

Go for Myles Turner instead. Pacers might not be able to re-sign him. Hart and McBride for Turner in a sign and trade.
