Great, two teams who can easily offer more than us.

Curious though what the asking price for Durant is.

I don’t doubt we’re on his list. I remember when he was on the block years ago we were apparently on his list… it’s just what are we giving up to get him. He’s pushing 40 and our window is very small and we don’t have enough established players around him to really make a push with him. If this was the 2018 raptors and we did a 1 on 1 swap kawhi style I would 100% do it. Idk now.

Please stop posting PoopB.

He's not an insider.

Also the tweet and title say two different things.

KD turns 37 in September and was still elite last season.

He'll keep producing until he's 40.

Giannis I understand but I have no idea why we'd be in the hunt for Durant. Is Masai getting desperate?

It obviously all depends on the price, and what follow up moves are available.

Is it even possible for us to keep IQ/Poeltl/Ingram/Barnes and get KD?
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

Houston likely doesn't want to go into the tax by trading Fred's contract for KD, and Jalen Green's contract isn't a positive for the Suns, which is what they'd want to throw in. It is a tanking package (with their picks back) which the Suns could fall back on if they wave the white flag on competing for a few years.

The Spurs could do that move, but like the Rockets, they have better assets for a bigger move. Both teams want a Giannis move, not the fading star move.

Like the DeRozan/Kawhi deal, we may very well have the best offer with our assortment of role players simply because these teams may want to keep their powder dry

Giannis ok, still young and playing at a high level. I want no part of Durant, he is old and damaged goods from the injury. Itll be a mistake.

I may be in the minority, but I am not interested in making a move for KD at this juncture. Too many unknowns with our current roster already. We need to see this team play together while actually trying to win games before making a move like this.

Pends; if the Suns wants picks, then we are out. But if they want established players, then we can still offer Jak, RJ, and some young bench pieces that can be a competitive offer.

KD is still playing at a high level as well.
He'd be our best player by far.

I'd rather put Durant next to some of this core than Fred and siakam and lose Scottie as what the previous Durant speculation was for us haha
