Magic go big game fishing!

Magic get Durant

Suns get Wendell Carter jr., Johnathan Isaac, Anthony Black and the 25th pick.

Magic roll with Suggs, Franz, Durant, Paolo as their Big 4 in the weakened East.

Suns get a starting center in Dell, a still very elite defender in Isaac when healthy and a young player in Black who is just starting to figure out how to play in the league.

a) not enough value for suns
b) not enough outgoing salary for orlando

KD probably doesn't want to go be the 3rd forward in Orlando either. And we had more reporting today that the Suns are going to work with him on getting him somewhere he wants to be.

I think 16 should replace 25, but I like it. Franz can be Orlando's starting "2". I could also see Durant liking this location - taxes, good rising team that he would get credit for pushing over the edge, weak Eastern Conference, etc.

Durant is a bad fit. Franz/KD/Paolo are all best defending 4's, none can defend 5's or 2's.

Honestly, this is the framework of a trade I wouldn't mind as a Suns fan. We get 3 solid NBA players and it balances our roster.

Fun idea, but I think that KD needs to go somewhere with a real point guard.

Before this Pacers run, that would have been a sleeper spot (now that would be just odd)
Heat have been done
Hawks would be a really interesting pairing
Pistons would be pretty cool

But Magic? Unless the Wagner boys are both heading out and they are getting a true lead-guard it doesn't really do anyone any good.
