He even had a post saying. All trade rumors aside let’s be thankful we have high level basketball. Now he’s subtly pumping Kevin Durant talks.

I think he bullshting now. He first was hyping up a big 3 of Brunson KAT and Giannis. Now we trading KAT and getting both KD and Giannis? lol

KD might be better then KAT but not by much. He'll be 37 so any decline and its a downgrade.

But maybe fit wise he could be better. And if we have a reset plan when he expires. I don't know what the cap looks like but if we can open up space for a big move.

It would be pretty risky.... Cause if kd falls off, and we can't replace him we will take a step back with lots of future picks gone

i think the fit is much better. doesn't need to be set up like kat. another playmaker and ball handler, great iso scorer so you don't just have to rely on jalen, you can let him spot up from 3 and play him off the ball, not the defensive liability. you would need to get another center for insurance. nobody great. just someone who can defend and rim run a bit.

it's risky because of the age but eventually other teams in the east will get better. it's as wide open as it can be right now. 3 years from now who knows.

Precious s&t doesn’t trigger the 2nd apron on us… that’s a nice under the radar weapon we got. Can give him a bloated 1 year deal so he’s essentially an expiring to the other team. Just attach the Wiz pick with him for a value upgrade.

My preference with that is still Lonzo. If we could add him at the 2, and have KAT lobby Horford to sign for under the tax MLE (like less than 4m), we can stay out the 2nd apron.

Bringing back Delon and Shamet on mins, and I’m pretty sure we duck the 2nd apron by a tiny bit.

I don't think anyone is concerned that KD can't still produce. It his health and age which are concerns. Especially with a team without a lot of dept...having a guy that misses a lot of time is concerning. Could derail a season.
