Yea, as mentioned, I already posted the video, Beasley specifically mentions the writer who said that and says him and LeBron never played 1v1 in front of anybody.

He then cited that he was trying to go at Lebron all the time when Lebron came to the team and that Lebron one day when likely tired according to Beasley told Beasley to not guard him and that Chalmers should, and it was a command, not a request.

I think the fact that the when of the supposed event wasn't mentioned tells you that this thread is pure click bait. Why is nobody else asking for the when?

Beasley is ~10 years younger than LeBron, right? So maybe it could be true if it happened now.

It's 1 on 1 game, why you think Lebron can't lose?

Btw Michael Beasley at college :
26 ppg
12,4 rpg
1,2 apg
53% FG
38% for 3
61% TS

on 21-12 Kansas team.

Guy literally was one of best college players in history. It's his head that was never in game, but his level of skill and talent and combination of mobility and size (6'9- 240) were so unique.

Go watch USA 1 on 1 drills from 6-7 years ago with George, Booker, Oladipo, Turner, Durant, Middelton. Paul George was class above everybody. Including prime Durant.

1 on 1 is very specific setting, maybe Beasley is very good at anticipation and reactions on defense when he does not need to read rest of a defense. Who knows.

beasley was an absolute baller. i would definitley believe it. hes one of the few id actually give a chance vs miami lebron.

seemingly we will never find out what happened behind closed doors. Also you never know whats true and whats not when beasley talks. one of the newer clips i saw, he didnt sound and look right. i think being blackballed by the league really hurt his mental wellbeing.
im bout dat action boss

Depending on the rules and the time in his career, LeBron might have not been sucha great 1v1 pkayer.

There's a video on this very thread of Beas literally saying they didn't play 1 on 1

Same level of research and evidence he uses to say Lebron uses Peds. Yikes

It would be hard to beat LeBron 1 on 1 still, not like he does not have ISO skills. But I thought the same as people who said it is two skilled Basketball players and in a single, short 1 on 1 game, anything can happen.

At a certain level of skill anyone can beat anyone in a game of one on one. So it wouldn't be terribly surprising.

There's probably some element of truth to it but you can tell its something that means a lot more to him than LeBron, so he was probably playing like it was game 7 of the finals while LeBron was still in warm ups and playing casually.

It's plausible. His Synergy Sports Tracking ISO numbers are pretty good.

2014-2019 RS

- 462 total possessions
- 0.96 points per possession (79th percentile)
- 1.8 possessions per game (79th percentile)

2014-2019 PS

- 15 total possessions
- 1.16 points per possession
- 1.2 possessions per game

LeBron's for comparison:

2014-2025 RS

- 3,816 total possessions
- 0.93 points per possession (69th percentile)
- 4.8 possessions per game (97th percentile)

2014-2019 PS

- 1,006 total possessions
- 0.94 points per possession
- 6.5 possessions per game

Why’d he specify in front of anybody? It makes it sound like they did play one on one in private but he’s not going to disclose what happened.
