This FO interviewed upwards of 15 candidates last time they hired a coach but sure... the only guys they are truly interested in are guys who are employed. And anyone else who gets reported after that was their 8th or 9th choice...

There's no sort of procedural issue that could cause this kind of timeline. None whatsoever

I think it’s just another way to defend Thibs for those who’ve done it all season… by knocking the FO for not hiring Eric Spoelstra day 1, they suck and don’t know what they’re doing.

Just gotta let that anger go and accept he wasn’t the guy and everyone in the org knew it… now let them do their job and take the time to find the right guy. Can’t be freaking out over every tweet or report.

I was a Thibs defender too that's the crazy part

But it's over now and we have nothing but time to figure out a replacement. If there was some sort of competition out there for new head coaches I'd be a tad bit concerned. But there's literally none.

THE FO is just doing their due diligence by trying to speak to all of the best coaches in the league. If they just hired someone the day after Thibs got fired, all of you people whining in here about our current situation would be complaining about how we didn't do a wide enough search. Speak to as many people as possible and make your decision from there.
