The idea is to sell Durant on the core of Warebanyama, Bam, and Herro and whatever filler bench pieces.

That's pretty much my take as far as the front runners. It's all going to boil down to where does KD most want to be, I believe PHX will acquiesce.

We’ll see what happens but I’ll never scoff at the chance of adding a player of KD current level of play/all time greatness.

And please don’t start talking about the Suns record and all that I don’t want to have to get back into how KDs impact is still elite and how he wasn’t the issue

The media’s D has been so hard trying to project Durant to the Spurs. Even Durant’s boy has been clowning it. Doesn’t think the Spurs are going to offer much. Not even the 14th pick. Suns might not want to be saddled with Vassell’s contract. They already have to deal with Grayson Allen’s long term deal.

Suns wanted Jovic at the deadline and I assume they still want him. I’ll tap out at Jovic but not Ware. Nope

If they cave and send Ware for KD it needs to be with no picks included and then KD/Bam/Spo need to instantly get in ADs ear to request a trade to Miami for our picks and whatever filler is needed.

If you told me we can add KD and AD but we have to give up Wiggins, Duncan Terry Anderson Ware and 3 1sts I’d do it.

I don’t think they’ll trade Warr though unless something like this is on the table or there’s a younger star they’re trying to get

Trading Ware is just an awful idea and any thoughts of prying AD from Klutch Nico is a fool’s errand.

As much as I want KD I dont think I can get on board with sending Ware for him.

If we land KD in a trade. Would we still be in a position to sign Trae Young in FA next off season if he enters FA?

Unfortunately it’s not what we think but what Pat thinks. Bam is best at Center and is being paid max salary. KD at PF makes just too much sense to help on spacing. The Suns wont take our non desirables, i have a stronger word but lets stick with undesirable's. Jovic and JJJ dont move the needle, especially after these playoffs and heck whole season, neutral (optimistic view) to negative (non optimistic view) is their value. If Pat thinks he can make something with this core of Bam and Herro he will do it. Remember pride and ego are also a factor here unfortunately. Personally i would nuke this build and go all rebuilding but thats not what Pat will do especially at this stage of the game.

JJJ, Jovic, Duncan 10 mil savings and the 20th pick is better than Vassell, Barnes, and 14th pick. I know the haters don’t want to believe that but it puts the Suns back in control of there cap. I’ve been saying this since day 1.

Knicks: not interested

Wolves: have to move mountains financially to get something to work

Houston: overstated interest as we already knew

Spurs: supposed mutual interest, no one has confirmed

Heat: we try to get him every time he’s available, offered Jimmy JRich Jovic and a 1st for him at the deadline, mutual interest has been reported by several top news reporters.

To me it seems like it’s either us or the Spurs.

The Suns hate the Spurs, this would be like us trading Jimmy to Boston. I would be surprised if this happened.

Question starts to become. Why would the Suns want Vassell’s contract? He’s 6’5 200 pounds forced to play SF with the Spurs when he should be playing the 2. Instead of spending close to 30 mil long term forcing him to play undersized SF again with Booker why not just take on the cost controlled JJJ and let Ryan Dunn keep developing at that wing spot? Houston scares me the most with FVV’s big expiring contract and similar young pieces to offer like Whitmore and some others that’s almost in lock step to our offer but FVV gives them a good PG for a year.

Suns have the 52nd pick in the second rd. That pick just happens to fall in line with the recent projected prospects we have been working out lol
