What would Raps do with their center position then? They already are lacking depth there.

We can easily best this by offering RJ and Poeltl.

Maybe we're not actually interested

Miami would be an interesting fit for Durant. I can see Spoelstra make that team dangerous

kd and giannis make too much money therefore if scottie is not a part of the deal, then we will be opening up a hole on a part of our roster just to make salaries match.

my guess is that the cost for us was too much AND/OR neither of them want to come to toronto.

Depending on health Robert Williams from Portland could be a good target for a backup PF/C.

He's 27 years-old and entering his walk year with a 13 million cap hit. 6'9" 249lbs switchable, rim protecting big with a 7'5" wingspan and 40 inch max vertical. He saw limited minutes last year coming off injury, and Portland might look to move off of him as they have younger options at the 4 and 5 in Toumani Camara and Clingan. He probably could be had for cheap given his injury history.

isaac salary:
25/26: $15 mil
26/27: $14.5 mil ($8 mil guaranteed)
27/28: $14.5 mil ($0 guaranteed)
28/29: $15 mil ($0 guaranteed)

cole anthony salary:
25/26: $13.1 mil
26/27: $13.1 mil (team option)

not a great match in terms of salaries: we would need to send out another $10.3 mil to make it legal since it rj for isaac + cole put us over the 1st apron. isaac counts as $27 mil for next season due to poison pill according to spotrac but it works in fanspo's trade machine.

I don't see us trading for Isaac, our front office tends to stay away from weirdos, but if I'm wrong about that, maybe this sort of thing?

Raptors - Isaac, #26 (BKN)
Nets - Cole Anthony, #16 (ORL)
Magic - RJ Barrett, #40 (TOR)

-Raptors get Isaac as a backup 5 and the #19 pick. My guess is Shead is less highly regarded than on here, as the numbers/profile just don't look like even a solid backup PG long-term. And this draft has a bunch of prospects at that spot:

Poeltl-Isaac
Barnes-Mogbo
Ingram-Agbaji-Battle
Walter-Dick
Quickley-#9-Shead

and #26 is the BPA, a center would be the best fit, though.

-Nets move up 10 spots in the draft and Anthony is only on the books for one year, can be traded or just let him expire

-Magic give up a mid-first but get a scoring wing.
Where's the D?

Orlando is looking for shooting and playmaking. RJ doesn't fit the bill.

"Undoubtedly, the Magic must improve their offense after ranking 27th in offensive rating last year. Ultimately, the Magic desperately need more shooting after finishing last in the league in 3-point field goal percentage."

"The Orlando Magic have a lot of needs they must address this offseason. Shooting is the obvious one. But playmaking might be a bigger key to unlocking that lost playmaking"

Would not be shocked if bucks are the petty that would trade him anywhere else but the Raptors..they just seem like the type.

If we end up drafting a wing (Kon or Bryant), i'd give Orlando Gradey for Cole+16 and draft CMB/Sorber/Yang/Beringer (whoevery Masai is highest on)

Is IQ + Dick for Suggs and 16th pick a bad place to start. I think Toronto sorely needs POA defense and a connective passer.

Thank. God. Kevin is great and all but his time is over unless he lucks into the perfect situation. He may be more of a ceiling than floor raiser at this point.

Phx had a better record than the raps last season. Raps have yet to prove they are any better than 30 wins. Moving assets for an aged KD who just led a team to 36 wins has Bryan Colangelo written all over it.

Suggs is really good. Despite tons of injuries, Orlando didn't start losing until Suggs went down. They're not giving him to us for IQ and Dick, let alone throwing in their 16th pick.
