Begley on KFS adamant that firing Thibodeau and moving on to a different coach was a Leon Rose decision.

He also said that there were two other occasions where Dolan left it up to Leon to make a decision on the coach and both times Leon stuck by Thibs. He even said that if Dolan had tried to force the firing previously Leon would have walked.

Says the player meetings were the tipping point.

Says Leon is on a fact-finding mission at this point. Not making decisions

Says Bryant is not currently being considered.

Does not get the sense the Knicks are scrambling or operating from a place of desperation.

Brown, Jenkins and Woody are the names to watch.

They asked for permission to speak with Udoka, Finch and Kidd all within a short window. What if they all said yes or let us think about it and then allowed it, and now Leon has 3 candidates he’s allowed to interview... would your answer be the same? No because it’s crazy lol… he’d do what he’s supposed to do… conduct an interview.
