You would think that a reporter who is pretty obviously getting called out by the player hes "reporting" on would have to very quickly address the situation and put out a retraction of some sort or at least make it crystal clear he is only throwing out an opinion of what he thinks Giannis should do......... If they had any sort of journalistic integrity

Sooooooooo instead within the next 48 hours im sure Shams sources with give him a list of teams Giannis wants to play for

I'd like to joke about being more plugged in than shams, but he definitely knows and is just lying through his teeth

Shams lost all credibility he had when he joined ESPN. Now it's just ratings and clicks. Getting stuff right doesn't matter. Not that he was 100% right before but at least you'd get the sense he was trying to uncover facts.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

It appears the edict from espn is they somehow need to keep this charade going all summer. Lt. Shams is on the case.

In the clip Shams says Giannis is "actively exploring other options" which runs counter to everything else we've heard.

Is he just lying through his teeth or does he know something we don't?

At this point he is clearly lying.

100% chance Giannis is a Buck opening night

I think Giannis just enjoys trolling the national sports media. That's why he hasn't come out and said anything. I can see Giannis sitting there with a huge grin on his face as Blowhards like Windhorst trip over themselves all summer in an effort to speak Giannis leaving Milwaukee into existence.

Giannis is going to wait until the last minute and let the national media make clowns of themselves for awhile.

All the more reason to love Giannis. But I get how Giannis not saying anything makes Bucks fan nervous.

As I was saying.....all the more reason to love Giannis.

Although I thought he would troll the blowhards a little longer than he did lol.

I don't know how much clearer Giannis needs to make it. These rumors are circulated by ESPN most yrs, often throughout. What is Giannis supposed to keep reaffirming his commitment publicly? He shouldn't even have to do that privately. It's tedious. He said it's more fun to troll too.

At this point, saying anymore about staying in Milwaukee will just be viewed as others as "he is really overdoing it, almost like he's trying to convince other teams to improve his trade value."

Which makes no sense of course but people are going to believe what they want. F it!

I know I'm in the minority, but I'd look to trade giannis regardless of whether he wants to stay or not.

As reasonablysober has stated, this team has very little chance of doing anything successful going forward. Time to move on.

I think it's going to be an uphill battle but not impossible. Having a player of Giannis caliber is half the battle and re-tooling around that is a good start. Trading for a haul of picks and prospects doesn't guarantee success in the future either. Do you have faith in Horst pulling off a re-build? This man was born in the John Hammond mold of taking big draft swings, and we might end up with a bunch of Thon Makers with those picks. If Giannis wants to stay, I'm showing him the same loyalty. We'll never see another player committed to Milwaukee like he has. For every Giannis, there's way more "Todd Days" that would be sad having to play in Milwaukee.

Define "successful"

Cause if its only winning a championship there's little chance we see another one in Milwaukee in our lifetimes regardless of what a Giannis return brings (just saying lets be real we went 50 years before the last one and plenty of teams have zero)

So what is "successful"?

If Giannis wants to play his 30-34 age years here, it is a no brainer to let him. He’s a top 12 all time player and moving up the list.

Yes you are and I am glad of that too because it don’t make no sense to trade arguably the best player in the world especially when he wants to stay.

As long as you have the best player in the world, you have a chance. Can't believe there's people who want to trade the guy. Blows my mind.

Yeah over the next year, our best shot is with Giannis. Unlikely the offers change much if we wait until next off-season. Gives us another year to regroup our assets and decide if we can make another run at a second star.

It’s really unbelievable. I’m so happy that our management seems to agree with the majority of us fans.

We are never too far away from contention with a prime Giannis. The NBA is not as lopsided as it used to be.

The overwhelming majority of people open to trading Giannis are doing so with the understanding that Giannis has asked out or indicated he won't sign an extension. I think the Bucks would be stupid not to entertain trades under those circumstances. The very, very worst thing that could happen is obviously Giannis leaving in '27 for nothing. If he gives the Bucks an indication that it's a strong possibility, he's got to go.
