Is everybody severely underestimating Stewie's MVP chances?

Yeah, there's Sab, Jonquel, and Cloud.
Yeah, Stewie isn't the 3P shooter she once was.

But she's still so dominant on both ends of the floor. Even in the Olympic run, all the other stars could go hot and cold, but Stewie being Stewie was the one constant that kept the train rolling.

Dominant as the Liberty are, I think they are the same way. Sab, Tash, and Jonquel can always have big games. But Stewie is the problem other teams just cannot deal with. Doesn't matter if her shot is falling or not. She's going to exploit the weakness for the opposing team's offense or defense, and there's really not a damn thing they can do about it.

I think you can take any of the other 3 stars off the team, and they are still title contenders. Take Stewie off, and they are still a good team, but not a great team.

Stewie graduated high school 13 years ago. In that time, if Stewie is on your team, you have a 50% chance to win a title across the WNBA and NCAA.

She's played with some good teammates, but basically since the end of Obama's 1st term, having Stewie on your team meant you have a good shot to win it all.

She's been the best player on all those teams, and I'd argue still is in 2025.

She certainly deserves to be in a lot of GOAT conversations. But I think even now, she needs to be in the MVP conversation. Sab, JJ, and Tash are awesome. But I think without Stewie, they are more like the Dream than in the all time great team conversation.

Stewie's defense is more valuable than her offense I think. She causes a ton of chaos near the basket

The Sky are lost on both ends. Their coach is not equipped for this.

Don't worry, there's nothing they can do at this point.

I hate to go back to the well, but we need a 30 for 30 on Chennedy Carter.

She is so damn good. Sky had less talent last year than they do this year, but with Chennedy, it didn't matter. They were in every game.
Sue Bird is on record saying Chennedy was the best player in the 2020 draft class with Sab.

She's amazing. I understand she's a problem in ways us regular folk just don't know. But I"d like to know.

Because she's awesome. And seems to be living it up in Mexico right now, tittie signings and all.

Preach brotha.

Signed,
East Coast guy that has to get up at 4AM every day.

Just one 7:30 EST game doesn't seem like too much to ask for.
