Do you think the NBA will go into next season with the same coaches on the same teams?

Silver : Hello?

Rose : Hey Dave, how's it going?

Silver : Look Leon, I told you just don't annouce the hire yet I don't want it to distract from the finals.

Leon : Oh, no, I'm not calling to ask you to let me, not at all. Although, how's that not distract stuff working out for ya?

Silver : Yea, yea, sure funny one Leon. Well, what do you want?

Rose : Can I talk to your wife?

Silver : My wife? Why?

Rose : I have a coaching position I need to fill.

Silver : Wait...what? My wife isn't a coach.

Rose : Hey, buddy, I'm doing my due diligence since I have a couple weeks to kill.

Silver : No, you can't speak to my wife!

Rose : So you are denying permission for me to speak to your wife? Is this a firm denial?

Silver : Yes, I am denying...firmly!

Rose : OK, man, just putting out some feelers, don't get too upset about it. Oh, and if the news gets a story leaked to them on me calling about your wife but you denying me permission, it wasn't me, I don't leak.

Silver : Wait...what?

Rose : Ok buddy, gotta run, my drink just got here. Later *click*

Silver : Hello?....jerk.
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

i don't understand the question. are you asking if a coach on another team will be fired before the season starts ?

I’m saying that if that’s a possibility the Knicks don’t want to miss out on that by making a quick hire.

Let’s say they hire Bryant. And then Lue gets let go a week later. And they didn’t know cause they didn’t ask. Why risk that?

I don’t care about smoke screens just speaking on their strategy of not hiring a guy right now.

Yea that’s like the thing I was sayin about Dallas/Luka… if you don’t ask you don’t know. That would be catastrophic to miss out on a coach that way. Make the calls, find out, sleep easy. The regret would haunt you forever

I’m sure they have a preference but they’re not going to plan B without checking in with other teams first
