How good is this Dillingham? Is he the best PG (prospect at least) in these deals, assuming Castle is a no go? He’s a little guy…. But so was KJ

If we want to play fast… PG is where it starts.

The Suns were seeking a big that could distribute the ball, bring the ball up the court, and shoot 3s, and KAT can do all of that. I think having a big like KAT makes it easier to play Oso as well.

Not the best big in the game, but one of the best. Certainly one of the top three now in the league. If Embiid does not play, I just see Jokic above him. I do not think the Knicks would do that.
KAT needs a player like Anounoby besides for him to excel, as he is a little bit soft sometimes. It seems like he is tough, because he likes to bang in the low post, but then he is soft in the def end.

Retool with Booker, KAT, Dunn, Oso, Plumlee, Allen, Bol and then Bitadze for Beal and a PG would be great.

Don't think they can because KAT makes like 60M and we need to get under the 2nd apron first.

Tim Reynolds:
Expect Brooklyn to be in the mix on some level here as well, along with Spurs and Heat, among others, we're told.

As Barry/Anthony and others have reported, Miami is very much in the KD game here, just as it was at deadline time.

Barry Jackson:
The Heat offered Jimmy Butler, Josh Richardson, a first-round pick, and Nikola Jovic for Kevin Durant at the trade deadline.

Suns rejected and asked for a larger return (via @flasportsbuzz)

Not sure I believe this report but add Ware/FRP and we have a deal.

Ware/Richardson/Jovic/2FRPs

Sounds like Brooklyn will be more of a facilitator than a KD destination.

For a KD to Miami trade, I'd want picks and Ware. Anyone else on the roster I'm pretty meh oh

Barry Jackson has all the inside info from the Heat, reliable source.

The Heat doesn't have Jimmy Butler anymore so they would need to put Andrew Wiggins + Ware on his place.

Then they would need to add Duncan Robinson to match salaries and his contract is only partially guaranteed. Around 50%.

2025-26: $9,888,000 guaranteed, fully guaranteed two days after 2025 moratorium ends (deadline 7/8/2025).

I can see Wiggins/Robinson being sent to a third team. Maybe the Nets?

IDK... obviously I would prefer Cam Johnson + Nick Claxton over Wiggins/Robinson but the Nets would ask for compensation and we don't want to lose picks in this deal.

If the Heat works with Brooklyn to give us Nick Claxton, Cam Johnson, #20 and two future FRPs they can have KD at draft's night.

There isn't enough picks for the Heat to give us 3 picks and something to the Nets as well for giving up Claxton and CamJo.

Yeah I would like him on the roster but probably they don't want to trade him (in that case Jovic to the Nets) or the Heat doesn't want to add any draft compensation if they give us Ware.

I would prefer Claxton/Cam J/mulitple picks over Wiggins/Duncan/Ware.

We are not taking Wiggins nor Robinson. Either they offer Ware or no deal.
