Re: 24-25 Trade Thread
Don't know who Grant Afseth is, but Darius Garland is an intriguing pursuit.. He got his efficiency up last year when that was my initial doubt on him
despite being a weird and sometimes detrimental fit with Mitchell, don't know why the win now Cavs would look at our picks tho to move him

Trae Young apparently a target as well. If there's an opportunity to make your defense even worse, you take it.

He’s a baller though… and there are only a few win now pieces in play
His career has stagnated and not progressed so it would be a big risk. Wouldn’t send the farm certainly

What would be the return value for Atlanta?BoogieTime wrote:codydaze wrote:Trae Young apparently a target as well. If there's an opportunity to make your defense even worse, you take it.

A hefty pick package. I’m guessing the hawks would be rebuilding

I think the Hawks have three starters set for long-term.BoogieTime wrote:HMFFL wrote:What would be the return value for Atlanta?BoogieTime wrote:

Jalen Johnson, Dyson Daniel's, and Zaccharie Risacher.
Is Keegan Murray available?

Re: 24-25 Trade Thread
We really have some of the worst assets in the entire league. Bad contracts, no picks, no great young players. Monte really set us back several years. I really don't think Perry has much choice but to tread water at this point. I don't possess the imagination required to even bother entertaining scenarios where we do anything that will make a difference. If Perry gets us out of this mess somehow he'll deserve sainthood.

? We have all our picks plus 2
And Lavine is hardly an albatross. IMO he’s solid but even if you think otherwise he’s a huge expiring next year

Different fans have different views but Keegan is on the table for me. I can see him being an asset to a bigger deal this summer

Re: 24-25 Trade Thread
Saw something about us telling agents we may be picking as high as early 20s.
Im really hoping its derozan for rozier, and their pick (20). If we get JJJ even better, but id do it without.
Ive also seen some herb + 7 + filler (assuming that has to be CJ?) For Sabonis. Id be down to tank a few years starting with Carter, Keon, Herb, Keegan, jaime jaquez, #7, #20. I hope Scott has a plan

Ham was saying it’s possibly Carter and Demar for 20 Duncan and JJJ

All for us to watch Devin carter become a multi time all NBA defense.
But realistically still fine with that. If the team is committed to getting a pg, and having keon/lavine, one of monk/Carter really need to go. Id prefer more defense so keeping Carter, but honestly I get it.

Re: 24-25 Trade Thread
Just looking from the outside...
I think Kuminga has Sacramento Kings written all over him...
How about that? J. Carter + Valanciunas for Kuminga + TJD... Maybe some SRP?
After this, make that DDR trade for Rozier... with Rozier and some SRP (which the Heat would add) to the WIZARDS and Smart and a few million savings for the KINGS...
Smart's idea is to acquire a defensive leader to improve the defensive culture and get out of De Rozan's final year...
What do you think about continuing with SPURS 27 + the SRP surplus for the SPURS 14?
Ellis/Lavine/Murray/Kuminga/Sabonis
Smart/Monk/14/*LaRavia/TJD
*14 Coward/CMB/Clifford

Adding to this. Just read speculation is 20 + some combo of Wiggins, rozier, Robinson, jaquez.
20 + Wiggins + jaquez is something id love.
I haven't given up on jaquez even after a down year, guy was a stud his rookie year. Felt like a mini Jimmy. Wiggins is a super solid wing defender.
I want the Kings to be a bigger team.
Demar + 2nds for 20 + JJJ + Wiggins (I doubt they do this but?)
Monk for PJ
Jval to 3rd team, smart to sac (not my favorite but options are limited)
Resign laravia
Smart/Carter
Lavine/Keon
Keegan/Wiggins
Washington/laravia
Sabonis/#20
This isn't my favorite offseason but you can see defense around lavine/sabonis, and much more length than we had before.
