2 wins to go Pacers !

I had a dream the other night Indy won the chip and I was partying at Larry Bird's Mansion in French Lick lol

They have a Pistons 04 Destiny and Aura about them.

Pacers are legit a sneaky good team. They have been hitting on all cylinders all playoffs and lead the league in FG% and 3P%. Brad needs to trade Joe for Rick because Joe is a bum.

So why would Indy agree to that?

Chill, it was a joke.

You got me!

Yup!

If Indy is first to win 3 games then it's really looking like destiny.

OKC feeling the heat now.

If Indy wins, all that MVP talk for SGA was a curse.

SGA's new nickname will become SEA - Shai Egregious-Alexander.

That last block from Turner on Chet's 3 attempt was the lack of experience showing on the part of Chet.

Panic shot from Chet.

I've never rooted harder for a non-Celtics team to win the title, other than the 2011 Mavs (another Carlisle team!). I predict OKC will take Game 4, but I really hope the Pacers can ride this wave and go up 3-1.

That 2011 Finals was one of the best non-Celtics Finals in my book.

I've loved this Pacers team all year long. Would be amazing for the league if they pull this off.

And an OKC win is not bad either.
The most charitable interpretation is that it's ethnic cleansing and massive war crimes.

Those two blocks in a row he got him at the rim were pretty fantastic.

I also loved when the Spurs mopped the floor with the hated Heat after gagging away the championship the year before. The Spurs ball and player movement was a thing of beauty. A lot of teams can do that for short stretches, but can't sustain it (teams revert to iso ball, etc.) The Spurs were able to sustain that style of play more consistently than any team I can remember.

When SGA gets the JT treatment from the refs - he is no MVP level

I think OKC win is bad for the NBA
There is a reason why people hate their style and hate SGA (the foul merchant)

The 2014 Spurs were truly a thing of beauty :

Pretty crazy that the 8-seeded Mavs (Carlisle again) managed to push them to seven in the first round.

Very fun game last night. How about McConnell with all those steals!? Mathurin with the game of his life!

I will say… despite being up 2-1 it kinda feels like Indy is the worse team. Their two wins feel a little fluky, game 1 was an OKC choke and game 3 required role players playing stepping up in a major way.

Going into the series I thought OKC had a psychological edge. They were supposed to be there. Indy was seen as a huge underdog and I’m sure there was at least some thought within the Indy locker room of “can we actually win this series?”. That doubt is certainly gone now!
