Am I the only one excited for this season?

I'm still hoping that Scottie or JaKobe or Dick makes a leap, or whoever we draft looks promising. But if none of those things come to pass, it'll be a rough season to watch.

I'm eager to get the season started and do hope for success. But am I optimistic? Not really. They still got some roster problems, not sold on Darko, and this team is banking on health of a guy who hasn't been that almost all of his career.

I'm hoping for either great success or great failure (enough to blow it all up) but reality is, we'll fall somewhere in the lower middle.

I am very excited for next year for multiple reasons.

Lots of young guys....lots of possibilities for guys to take steps forward.

BI has the ability to be a 24+ point guy and actually get a bunch if those points from the outside.

Our defensive identity emerged last year. Certainly hoping we build on that.

Darko showed he could impact games when he flicked that switch and had them focus on defense every possession.

Masai...he 100% has re-focused on the team after a few years of letting Bobby have too much rope. Imagine if he has another great offseason like last year.

Our depth. We are already 11 deep in playable guys with 2 picks to come. We can withstand a few injuries finally.

Now in saying that, we NEED a backup C. And not just one in the draft. I want a reliable backup that can step in as a starter when Jak misses games, and he will. If we do that, I think we can be a top 4/5 team next year.

I'm excited, added talent mixed with some organic growth....only worry is injuries, things can get derailed quickly.

I'm more excited than the past couple of seasons. My interest completely faded when we lost Fred for nothing. I knew we were headed for a couple horrible seasons. As opposed to the "addition by subtraction" narrative that in retrospect, was completely ludicrous.

Houston became a winning team. We became a losing team.

I am kinda concerned that we don't have any "winning players". We have alot of decent to good players. But none who have particularly high basketball iq or that make key winning plays. Ingram has never been that kind of player either even though he absolutely becomes our most skilled guy.

For Scottie, this is the year that determines the trajectory of his career. He doesn’t have to make All NBA, but he’s got to be in the conversation. I think he has the potential to get there. This past season was rough admittedly. Next season he should be right there.

I'm super excited! East is wide open, lots to suggest the era of dynasties is over and the Raps have one of the best FOs in the business and a very interesting base of young talent.

I'm looking forward to it. I think Scottie takes the next step with his shooting. His shot looked fine when he wasn't flicking his wrist to the side. He'll prove a lot of people wrong next year. BI and Scottie are gonna be a nasty duo if they're healthy. The rest of the roster could be improved but I think we're in a good position as long as the young guys build off last season

I'm excited to see a team that is back to trying to compete. I got the tanking at the end of the 2023-24 season, and then tanking last season because of the depth of the draft and need to rebuild. Last season was hard though, as it was clear from the start of the season that the team was in the ethical tank mode. Hard to watch games, when you know the teams desired outcome is a loss.

4/5 of the starters in the roster are due for a breakout or some kind of growth.

Not particularly but it will be nice to not cheer for losses, assuming they dont start 10-30.

I am eager to get the draft over with & move on to Summer League.

Super excited for the season. One of the most anticipated seasons for me since I started following the team in 95.

We have youth, some talent, an interesting coach & lots of good storylines. I also think these guys felt a bit like a caged animal this past season, so they will be hungry to compete & prove em.
