Yeah White is loved here….and around the league. He is a top 30-40 guy on a team friendly 4 year deal. He will command a nice return if he is put on the market.
A good young player with star potential, salary relief and a couple picks (one with lotto potential) is the floor asking price imo.

Kevin O'Connor says the Celtics are still the best positioned team in the East over the next three years. One minute video:

(Just a guess, he fits the Celtics style) In order to get him the Celtics would have to get in the 14-17 range in my opinion. Does Hauser and the #28 pick get you there? What else would the Celtics have to add? Protected 2027 pick? It's interesting.

Read on Twitter
He's a nice shooter but small especially with Pritchard there also

Plus, he's really not a PG, he's a small 2, imo. Personally, I don't want a 2 that measured 6'0.5 in socks.

Agreed. Pritchard plays really good defense and is a fierce rebounder. Where is Richardson fitting in especially if he doesn't find his offense right away.?

You HAVE to include the path to getting under the 2nd apron in these trades. In a vacuum I like the players you have coming back. But is the 2nd part trading Jrue almost solely as a salary dump to get under the 2nd apron? So you have to lose all the equivalent of Jrue's salary, and try to get cheaper but good players back.

I mean, it's the media that is saying we're looking to trade Jrue, KP and Hauser and that we're listening to offers for JB and White..and that Al might sign elsewhere..

Coincidentally Brad is looking to move two injury prone guys in Porzingis and Holiday just like he did back when it was Smart and Williams.

The issue is, when you moved on from Smart and Robert Williams, you upgraded. This time, you're probably looking at a major downgrade. With Jayson Tatum dealing with a significant injury and Jaylen Brown just coming off surgery, it's hard to believe that whoever you bring in — or any internal improvement — will come close to replacing what Jrue Holiday and KP bring to the table.

Holiday was hurt in the Orlando series and we didn't need him to finish them off but he had different nagging injuries throughout this last NBA season. Porzingis has been injured the last two seasons in the playoffs. Replacing them with healthier bodies available during crucial playoff runs is already a win. There have been several key players in the playoffs this season who have been hurt and a disproportionate number is on the older side.

The Celtics were a better team than the Magic, with or without Jrue Holiday. Even if you replaced KP and Holiday with healthier players, that doesn’t automatically make them a better team. Jrue in particular does so much that doesn’t show up on the stat sheet—especially off the ball. His defense, leadership, and ability to impact the game without needing to dominate possessions were all crucial to their title run.

Jrue’s reduced impact this season had more to do with coaching than with any decline due to injuries. The team that won the title used Jrue effectively—putting him in the dunker’s spot, letting him make cuts, post up, and handle the ball when needed.
But for some reason, Mazzulla had him mostly standing in the corner and being less active offensively. That made Jrue seem less involved, but the reality is, when he’s used properly, he’s still one of the most impactful two-way players in the league.

Lets WCjr and Gafford fight out for who is going to be the center for the future.

I think Naji is potentially a perfect big forward to pair with Tatum and Brown. the other flipped for depth.

2026 season

White/Pritchard
Brown/Black
Tatum/Scheierman
Marshall/Hauser?
WCjr or Gafford/Kornet

Just read this and figured I'd stick it here.

Montrezl Harrell on his time with Sixers: I hated it

Montrezl Harrell: So like I said, that whole time I experienced with the Sixers? I hated it, bro. I swear I hated it.

And the thing about is, it got even worse because you see when me and Doc had words, and both times he really just discredited me as a player; like, he basically told me in the situation with me of coming with him to the Sixers, I had no other teams that wanted me which was a lie. I could’ve gone to Boston.

The only reason why I didn’t go to Boston is because they basically told me that I have to be comfortable with not playing games and where I was at in my career, I looked at like, Bro, I need to be on the floor to actually prove that I still have something to give to this game and I can still play like it.

I should’ve taken that situation and went to Boston honestly, but they had Al Horford and the young kid that they traded off to… the young kid that had the knee injury with the dreads. What’s his name? Robert Williams. They had him. So in that situation I’m feeling like, That’s tough to say I’ma get DNP’s and y’all already got Al Horford who’s an established vet and using the young fella Rob. That’s kinda tough. I need to be on the floor playing… It was nothing else with them. It was one of those situations where I felt like the amount of games we didn’t know that we might not have played in, that’s tough to bank on that. And then you have them over there “telling” me that I will play 15-18 minutes. Which one would you choose?

lol.

Well it makes sense then that he went to Australia. Got plenty of playing time over there, as opposed to getting DNP's in the NBA..

That's why those overseas leagues are a nice alternative for a lot of guys.

I liked Harrell's game. Couldn't shoot but he was all hustle: the second coming of the Manimal-- who I believe is also playing overseas (Italy).
