This is a well thought out post. White is the guy who holds the most value imo. A contender doesn’t have to change anything because White adapts so well in any situation. If OKC goes down, they would be morons not to throw a ton of picks the Celtics way to acquire White if they can’t land Giannis. White next to SGA is a perfect fit and White’s shotmaking and clutch play would take OKC over the top. However, trading White ends the Celtics short term window to compete and will demoralize the fanbase and probably Tatum. There’s a point though, you have to sell if the offer gets ridiculous.
Dort + Wallace + 4 good first round picks is probably that line. Other interesting landing spots where the team has enough assets to acquire White are the Spurs, Houston, Golden State, Minny…actually any western conference playoff team lol
