Seriously. Am I nuts?

I just want fresh ideas and a different approach. This roster with a few tweaks is definitely talented enough to win a title. We're not a lesser team than Indiana even though they beat us, I truly believe that we should have ended them.

The window is wide open, but Wemby is in the mountains currently training with shaolin monks. We gotta get modern, dynamic, and deep

Not enough credit given to Indiana. Look what they are doing to OKC. They also beat your guys Bryant and Atkinson in the previous round before they got to us. Pacers are playing the best basketball in the league and they peaked at the right time.

Wemby in mountains with monks, what does that even have to do with us? What are we talking about right now?

I think we need an upgrade in the backcourt but two small guards wasn’t really it either. Deuce wasn’t that good especially in the Pacers series. Definitely can’t have Hart starting anymore but also can’t rely on Bridges to handle guard duties. Brunson needs an actual guard with some size but with guard skills who can do something with the ball. Like how Haliburton has Nembhard, we need our version of that guy.

YO.

Ok. Now this is the kind of offense we should run. I can see how this would open up shots for literally the entire squad

How's that going in Philly?

Also when have we ever been bailed out with a #3 pick when we should be picking at like #7. Every time we should pick #7 we pick #8 and then an all-star is selected at 7.

It was a joke

I figured it was sarcastic, but I really wanted to express my pissed-offedness about how the NBA gave them a damn life raft.

With coaches that have experience there is a track record people can pick apart, there's a certain amount of baggage with just about every single one of them.

With a first time head coach there's no track record, you can't examine the warts and issues because they've never had the power to make the decisions.

A never before coach is like a draft prospect, unlimited upside left to imagination and it's hard to find the flaws because they haven't done it at the next level yet.

I'm not advocating for one or the other, I'm just pointing out the obvious facts about how many people often build their opinions about them.

Bryant would be one of the less objectionable options as far as I am concerned. Of available names I have

1) Mike Malone
2) Bryant
3) Vogel
4) Jenkins

Of available but not in contention names:
1) Thibs back
2) Either Van Gundy
3) Kevin Ollie

Not worried about Wemby. Also this is a new age of the NBA and I think now with this 2nd apron it’s going to be hard to have an actual dynasty. They were already rare but will probably be even more rare now. I mean neither Giannis or Joker have even sniffed the finals since their last appearance so nothing is guaranteed for Wemby

I’m starting to talk myself into Jenkins. My only worry is how he lost the locker room in Memphis but maybe it was bound to happen when those assistants took over his offense.

Nembhard is also a small guard that although being a couple inches taller than Deuce, Nembhard actually has a slightly lower standing reach, a 3 inches shorter wingspan and may actually still weight less than Deuce at this point his career. And even when Deuce was shooting poorly at times through the regular season and postseason opponents were still guarding him as a good shooter and he is still one the team's most reliable ball handlers.

The team somehow performed significantly better in every 2 man pairing that included Deuce throughout the year. Just having him on the court made so many lineups fit better together. Maybe that wouldn't have translated to the starting lineup and I would still love an upgrade in the starting lineup but I have no idea why we didn't attempt starting or playing Deuce more while reducing some of the other awkward lineup combinations. Hopefully the next coach is more flexible in his lineups.
