Re: Brewers 2025 Discussion - Misiorowski Called Up

Post#1561 » by MickeyDavis » Thu Jun 12, 2025 8:26 pm

I get it, he's going to be a FA after this year and wants to try to pump up his value. But it rubs me the wrong way when players do this publicly. Request a trade, fine, but STFU about it.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Shane Smith, Vinny Capra, Tyler Alexander, Bryse Wilson, Adrian Houser, and now Aaron Civale. Are the White Sox just Brewers south at this point?

He's been bad, but he was a hot name once upon a time. Only two years of service time left, but I like taking the chance here.

Civale for Vaughn in a vacuum is probably a bad trade(Civale is better than Vaughn), but given our starting rotation depth, taking a flier on Vaughn is atleast something with some upside

I hope he spends the rest of Nashville's season there.

Interesting that the Brewers were the team to send cash in the deal.

#3 pick in the 2019 draft
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

We sent the Yankees cash too. Mark is flush.

Potentially bad news for my large adult son Ernesto Martinez Jr. He just got some legit competition for 1B next season.

Very important question if we can fix Vaughn.

Can we bring back Vaughn's Valley?

Is there any hope of having a legit bat at third or short without a trade any time soon? It ridiculous how bad the left side is offensively.
