Idk if it’s been posted but what yall think?

Lonzo, Caruso, Derrick White…list is kinda short of good guards with height that can defend and take the pressure off.

**** the Giannis talk, this is really what we need.

not a Knicks target because we have our wings in Mikal, Josh, and OG

I am interested in seeing what the Pelicans do

with Dumars running the show, he may want to completely rebuild the roster and put his own imprint on it, even trading some guys like Murphy and Jones who are fan favorites and worth keeping long-term

Supposedly they’re knocking on the Spurs door to kick the tires on their 2nd overall pick.

Trey Murphy, 7th overall pick, pick next year = 2nd overall pick

I’d buy that for a dollar.

I would send Hart, Deuce, the WAS 1st and multiple second rounders for Murphy if he asked out. That dude is legit.

Also, I like the idea of Lonzo Ball. Send them Precious, Dadiet and a couple of second rounders.

Really should be our primary target this summer. He’s the exact archetype we need next to Jalen. 6’6” elite POA defender, shoots the 3 well, and is an elite passer/has elite court vision.

His health is absolutely a concern, but like you said, our med staff is top notch n can make sure he’s right. Only need to give him 25 mpg...

Him n Horford are at the top of my wishlist

Great that the Knicks wasted 5 picks on Mikal instead of being able to be play for someone actually good like Trey

I explain above why I wouldn't keep Hart: his lack of half court offense in a hindrance during playoffs. As for Mitch, he's on an expiring deal, and w/ this teams cap situation, they need to send out an equal amount of $ as they get in return. Gotta give to get

Divo (or keeping McBride) is your counterbalance to Hart and a new coach probably won't force feed Hart as much as Thibs tried to do.

I'd just rather keep Mikal, OG, and KAT, and don't prioritize Hart because the only thing he does at an elite level is rebound, which, while important, can be replaced for cheaper than his ~19M/yr salary. I'd rather give Bruce Brown the taxpayer ML

we need to trade salary to get anything in return, and Hart's contract gives them flexibility

I’d say add DiVo and see what they can do. Most of the names thrown around here don’t really get us that much closer to a championship. Like, swap KAT and JJJ, are we really so much harder to beat? Swap KAT and Durant, do we really win it all? I don’t see it at all. Durant is a legend, but it won’t improve us much or actually not at all im. We need cohesion and continuity more than anything. And most importantly, and I’ve said this before, y’all shouldn’t always compare their best games with our players’ worst.

I used to like Trent Jr but feels like he's fallen off lately. Is that so, or still enough in the tank?

At this point, is he better than Shamet? I mean, even only a little, that's good.

His defense is not very good and seems to come and go, but he played well against the Pacers in their series. He averaged almost 20ppg against them

He can shoot and he's still young.

Larry Nance Stats.....

16pts
8reb
3 ast
+ 1.6 steals 1 block per 36 last year.

Shot 44.7% from 3 on 3.6 attempts per game, so a pretty decent sample size.

+.4 defensive EPM.

Coming off knee injury and 31 so less expensive but probably good value if healthy.

Definitely the kind of guy to target if they're trying to improve the bench and on the margins

I just don’t think we’d do that. KD is an all-time great and he never ceases to amaze me, but this isn’ta trade you want to make and let’s be real, his teams weren’t any good recently.

John Salley said pretty much the same but didn't mention names.

I think Mello and the others on X meant on OFFENSE judging from the conversation. Lonzo and Coby were the top mentions by them.
