If you can get Poole without giving up either first round pick, I think you have to strongly consider it.

And then package both firsts and whatever filler you need to move up into the lottery and get a guy you really love.

This is where I am currently.

I dont think hes worth a first due to his contract and perception.

The "dumba$$ery* is an issue on an impressionable team looking for direction. We have a Magic culture.... Strong coach.... And most importantly 2 alphas on the team. More than anything he will adjust to us and find his place on the team. Supportive role.... Bring the shooting.... Playmaking.... And work hard on defense.

We could also trade JI, Cole, and Jett for Poole and then sign Bobby Portis with the mle.

Sold! Would love to see what KCP backcourt would be like with suggs.... But..... Without sending out KCP .... We would end up with $20+ million on the bench..... Annnnnnd we get to keep the JI..... And a NAW and black bench backcourt would be an amazing defensive combination in the backcourt and will be interchangeable. With our picks .. one should be a PG that can be used for the future... WCJ.... And swing for the fences on the next. ... Or bundle #16 and 25 for a player we would like (kon, Bryant,kasparas, etc).... At this point ... Trade the 2nd rounders for future 2nd (haha... No draft flattening jokes please)

Get us a new offensive coach....

Our bar for a PG is pretty low. After what we have endured for the last couple of seasons, I don't think it can get any worse then Cojo as our best starting level PG.

To me it comes down to skillsets and assets required at this juncture.

None of Orlando’s options are good.

C.White and Reaves probably cost a LOT of assets or are not as available as we are led to believe.

1. KCP, Cole Anthony for Jordan Poole, Justin Champagnie
2. Jett, Isaac, #16 pick, for Simons, Reathe
3. Jett, Isaac, #25 for Malik Monk

Those are really the 3 most realistic trade targets.

Indy on the verge of going up 3-1 against OKC with a PG heavy team with 1 center... meanwhile we have no PG's and way too many bigs.

Get Simons and Tyus Jones, and call it a day

Simons/Suggs/Wagner/Paolo/WCJ
Tyus/KCP/Silva/Moritz/Goga

Get rid of any of (3 first round picks, MLE, Cole Anthony, JI, Black, Harris) to get it done.

Simons is from here, makes sense, since we have had trouble keeping stars.

Also if WCJ cant stop being horrible from 3, you trade him for a stretch big.

We hate trading 1st round picks and we tend to hold players we draft.

We only have 2 players we traded for WCJ and Gary Harris.

We have 9 players we drafted on the roster.

I’m not sure we are capable of trading 1st draft picks given our FO history. They are addicted to drafting and the players they draft.

I want us to trade both 1st this year but are we capable?
