I often want to make an Idiot Thread and just merge every idiot comment into it lol. But then I'd kinda feel like I was promoting idiot comments by giving them their own thread, and also it's probably not very moderately of me to make a thread called Idiot Thread haha.

I don't think the thread is bad. For my part, I just saw the comment from MoneyTalks and ran my mouth a little in response haha.

If I had to guess, people are not enjoying the poster who said he's not watching this trash series while simultaneously ripping on the teams and players nonstop as if he's been watching. I think it's carried over from another thread at this point and might be confusing for that reason.

Conspiracy theorists say Scott Foster has only reffed 3 games this post season and they’ve all been OKC wins/blowouts.

Edit: he’s reffed 4 from what I can see. One being a NYK win over BOS.

Granted it's a small sample size, but they've won the games he's officiated by an average of 30 ppg vs. 5.6 ppg in the games he didn't officiate. I'm not sayin', I'm just sayin'.

*I was always under the assumption that NBA bettors tracked the refs and ran their own analytics. It is part of the game after all. Like folks who bet on the ponies knowing the weather conditions certain horses excel at.

Meh. The way this Pacers team plays, they aren't that affected by that stuff. Even if a couple of 50/50 calls go against us, that's alright. We'll keep pressing and eventually we'll even it up.

So many days between games. Milking ts out of this

OKC are actually sub .500 in clutch time so far whereas Pacers rock something closer to 85% far out.

Pacers cover the most distance on a team, log lower minutes on the starters and don't get the rub of the green with the whistle.

The trio of OKC just don't synergise well enough on offence overall. None of them are close to elite as a facilitator yet and I don't see it happening in the future.

The series isn't over but with potentially 4 games to go I'd rather back the Pacers and an all timer with Rick getting the the total score up to scratch for 2 of them vs OKC and Dags even with OKC having a home game. Home games aren't impenetrable as they used to be and this Pacers squad went through the Cavs, Celtics the Knicks at MQ like swiss cheese.

Truly is an underdog story of the highest proportions

Have not been impressed at all by Dags he's getting outclassed by a lot. Hart and Chet only logging in like 10 mins together is beyond me.

This is where coaching comes into play.

Indy has the advantage there with Carlisle.

OKC has to blow out Indy. They have the better overall talent as well

They do not want a close game. Indiana is too well coached, deep, and mentally tuff/experienced.

Yeah the OKC's proper half court stuff in crunch time is brutal in comparison to Pacers stuff makes sense when you don't know where it's coming from like death from thousand cuts.

Like I'm not going to rely on Dort hitting 4/5 threes to save you on the bailout, I can envision OKC winning in only 2 ways either blow out or just a real grindy/ugly win.

Dags should really study Art of War basically the reason they lost game 1. You don't under any circumstance give your opponent their absolute best strength for free which is pace and space.

Slow it down a touch when you have leads which they've had every game so far close the space maybe even use Shai more as a decoy as he's target number one on both sides it's why I really like the double big set ups when the time is right. It's been limited mins in 1st, 2nd, 3rd quarters so far.

I just know Carlisle is already a couple steps ahead dude is just an all timer showing why he was one even before the series started.
