and his championship run defense is back. For whatever reason, he didn't seem motivated at that end towards the end of his Raptors career. If he played like this, I don't see use trading him

Yeah I think combination of having to score 23-25 ppg and Nurses defensive system being very tiring and lack of belief playing for a bad team made him slack on defense here.
