Pivotal game in the series that truly shifted the overall outcome. Getting similar vibes from this game 4.

Very similar, the course was corrected. Heartbreaker for the Pacers.

In 2007, in what was the real nba finals, the suns won a game like this over the spurs on the road to restore home court advantage and a 2-2 series. Then Robert horry happened as the game was winding down.

Why have i brought that up? Idk. All the conversations about restoring home court brought on some PTSD i guess :)

Talking about the refs when a pacer player missed 3 FT with under a minute is wild.

Scott Foster factor. Pacers were not going to win this game.

I mean I don't know.. that push off and travel on that last shai bucket he made should have been called and then who knows.. but the Halliburton bombs were bound to stop going in and the Mathurin outbursts were bound to be offset by the bonehead that he's always been

Halliburton has no moves other than a left to right crossover or step back. Props to holmgren for figuring that out and shutting him down

Don't tell me the freethrow attempts were close. People saw the game. OKC were in the game because of the calls.

It was a choke.

Up until tonight, OKC had won every 1st quarter and we had won every 4th quarter. The exact opposite of what happened tonight.

We lost a huge, huge chance tonight. Unbelievably huge. We basically blew our best chance at a title. It's a 3-game series now with OKC homecourt. We have to win at least one in OKC to win the title. That's very hard to do.

Look, we were able to generate good shots down the stretch. Myles, Nembhard and Hali all had some good looks. We just didn't hit them which is why we lost. Happens but it doesn't make the loss any less devastating.

Pacers will win game 5 and game 6 BOOK IT !!!!!

Pacers back to the "we're just happy to be here" theme... I thought they had a real shot of winning this.. how unfortunate.. imagine sitting through two Iranian missile barrages, get cheered up by the Pacers, and then watch them choke... goddammit...

Pacers had this game close to put on a strange hold and they made too many mistakes late 3rd. If they lose this finals they will look back at those poor turnovers and missed free throws.

And as a someone who doesn’t care who wins this series, is pretty frustrating to see a player just blatantly push off with their arm over and over again and the refs just pretend like nothing happened. Yea the commentators are gushing over making those shots but if you are getting away with creating space like this off course they are going to be open shots…

The Pacers were a few good minutes away from an almost certain championship. That has the potential to sting for a very, very long time.

Turner has been garbage lately. Perhaps Carlisle should consider benching him for Toppin? If Turner's shot isn't falling he doesn't provide much else

Are you guys considering this a great series?
Like the games are close but it's not like there's an amazing level of play imo. It's equal to like the Lakers/Heat bubble title

you mean how he went 5-8 on the night?

It was really all about when he missed the FT's. Could have made it 105-107 with two makes and 23 seconds left. Also the foul on SGA with hand in the cookie jar, Nembhard does not commit that foul for example, just have to be more disciplined there. The other foul, I mean, that's just trying to contest, that happens, so not going to get on him about that. The missed two FT's down 4 though was tough.
Also 5/8 from the line isn't good

We're going 7 buddy. It's been a legendary series between the 2 smallest markets in the NBA regardless of the outcome. We all won.

A lot of critical turnovers by him.
