Hali deserves at least 80% of the blame for that loss.

A lot of critical turnovers by him.

Tbf game was pretty much out of reach when Mathurin decided to go full r’d.

Before the last two points OKC scored, Mathurin missed 3 FTs and gave up 2 points (two dead ball fouls) in a 5 point deficit... he literally was the reason the game wasn't tied before OKC scored their last 2 points.

Turner being sick and Walker out hurt the Pacers tonight, especially with the short rest.

They didn't have the regular 4Q burst. Didn't wear OKC down.

Props to OKC. Excellent comeback.

SGA pushes off a bit too much for my tastes... but he definitely delivered at least.

He definitely was a bit gassed but that’s understandable. Dude was going all out on both ends first 3 quarters.
Rick had no choice but to keep him in the game as well. He was +20 when the game was 89-84 Pacers.

That’s what happens when your supposed “best player” Haliburton doesn’t show up first 3 quarters.

There was 47 minutes before that one. The first half was the worst reffed half of basketball I may have ever seen, and the Pacers were up 3. Should have been up 20. It was clear the NBA got what they wanted.
The Pacers were winning the game when the 4th started. So how exactly do calls from the 1st half change the outcome? Let's not be a poor sport.

Tonight was like one of those heated playground games when there’s a fight every few minutes. Hard game to ref so I think they did an okay job.

OKC won it by locking the Pacers down in the end. And getting the critical buckets from SGA. The 2 man game of Jdub and SGA are what we’re going to see in the crunch for the rest of the series. Should be interesting.

Pacers are the team that looked tired in the 4th. They played so hard all night, maybe they just ran out of gas.

I’m never critical of a player when he plays hard even if he doesn’t play well. Not an aesthetically pleasing game but still a good one. Pacers might be disappointed but the series is 2-2. It’s still right there to take.

JDub and SGA with huge performances. Pressure back on indiana.

Caruso has flat out been Okcs 2nd most important player these playoffs **** is ridiculous. They straight up dont make finals if they didnt get him. Wouldve lost to Denver and lost some games against Memphis too even w/o Ja

Bad coaching by Carlisle. First he had Pascal inexplicably move into a point-forward role in the last two minutes of the 3rd quarter, which disrupted momentum, then he froze out Pascal in the 4th.

Same thing happened in the Boston series last year. Rick put the ball in Nembhard's hands with a green light in crunch time.

Stop this equal opportunity BS. The finals are on the line and this guy was brought here to help you win and he is your leading scorer. If I'm Rick I can live with Pascal missing but cannot live with him not touching the ball.

I just don't get it. Now you have to win another one in OKC.

Yep Spicy P done dirty, it's like he'll never get the respect he deserves.

Nesmith has picked the wrong time to play his worst basketball of the postseason. He's just been getting cooked by either SGA or J-Dub every time they're matched up, by either fouling incessantly or getting bodied for buckets.

I hate the way the NBA and their goons interject them self into the story.

Even the quickest regular season games go for about 135 minutes. Theres always 30 quarters

The Pacers may never get that close to the title again. This one’s gotta hurt.

With 2 evenly matched teams you're bound to spread the blame widely across 4 games and 16 quarters of basketball. You can nail a different player for critical mistakes every time.

Plays that happen in the first half don’t affect the outcome of the game?

What an incredible take.

I guess all sorts of delusion takes are required when you root for probably the most unwatchable title contender in NBA history

There is reason he comes off the bench and has for a long time.

Yep.

He’s constantly on and off people’s roster in my fantasy league for a good reason.

He isn’t actually very good.
