And they can trade $50m of salary to another team to recoup assets and we will take on the returning salary

Would have been done yesterday if Rockets offer that.

I bet Rockets are only offering Pick 10 right now and angling to add another pick as negotiations pick up... but Suns need 3 picks to budge. I think Pick 10, Suns 2027, Suns 2029.... and salary filler, and Jabari Smith.

That's too good to happen IMO.

Those picks + meh players would be realistic, but we are talking about receiving 3 players under 23 years old with untapped potential too.

There are not "salary filler" in thr Rockets. Every player has his own solid value including FVV and Dillon.

I would rather have picks than Green from Rockets. If Green was getting paid 25M per year, sure.... but he's getting paid 33M to 40M by end of his contract.... I think he's like JR Smith, talented but the IQ is going to hold him back.

Jabari Smith Jr is more intriguing since he has the height, youth and skill set to be a good stretch 4 to develop. I actually like his potential.

Regardless, once the suns make their trade... they need the proper role players to form a team. I really want Jalen Smith back, he could be a cheap solution for the center spot. Forget Claxton who is earning close to Ayton money, might as well go for Ayton if Suns are OK paying circa 30M for a big man. Jalen Smith could be had for 10M a year.

Heat don't have anything to trade for KD.

I'd trade KD for Spo, Ware and 2 first rounders though if that's possible.

Wolves don't have enough.

Unless Gobert is going to a third team bringing in 3 first rounders to Suns.

We need a center though. Who else will be playing that position? Wolves can offer a solid package centered around Gobert.

Flex mentioned the Raptors/Grizzlies as the potential third/fourth team. Any chance the Grizzlies make JJJ available?

So...

Ingram + another player + pick?
Jabari + Green + picks?
Jovic + Ware + picks (although Miami is considering not including Ware, which would cancel any potential negotiation)?
Cam Johnson + Claxton + pick/s?

I believe I prefer the Raptors package, especially if the second player is someone interesting. Not a fan of any deal coming from MInnesota or the Knicks, unless it is KAT.

Look up his advance stats, his stats and efficiencies.

He's definitely a case for top 15 player if not higher.

He was a top 5 player last year most of the year by most people even media. This year his stats are the same except the Suns were terrible and even Michael Jordan prime couldn't save a horrific team with worst fitting players ever.

Stop selling KD short. He's an immense talent and similar to LeBron when he was 36 years old. KD can play until he's 40.

I wish I could +1 this post twice.

I think for the Wolves and us as we are in "win now" mode (lol) the most sensible package is Gobert+DDV+Dillingham+17th pick (maybe 1-2 seconds, or pick swaps, but not even these necessary).
They re-sign Reid and keep Randle, pick up 1-2 vet min type centers and PG, become more flexible at C, with better scoring.
We get a good floor raiser, durable defensive C with Gobert, solving our rim protection and our rebounding. We get a good young PG prospect (top 10 pick last year), a good 6th man type SG and a good pick. We can package the latter 2 or our pick, plus at least one of Grayson/O'neale to upgrade other positions - PF and PG mostly needed. Ishbia can say we are "win-now" mode still, and depending on the second trade we can still be a playoff team with a bit of luck.

Gobert better come with multiple first rounders. He is no way near KD talent.

Gobert makes $43 million a year. Sure we need a center but f**k that. He is not worth it.

Gobert makes $35M next year, $36.5M in 2026/27 and has a player option for $38M in 2027/28.

The latest from Gambo.

The Suns have an offer that they like but is giving the other suitors the opportunity to improve their offers.

He agrees with Shams on Wolves and Houston but for what he has heard the Heat's offer is not close. He said something like that, don't take my words literal.

He said that he has a good feeling about getting a good package for KD.

I doubt the Wolves are moving Gobert. It's probably Randle & something else minor, like DDV (or less), and maybe a pick or two included.

The Spartan office must have confidence in Dillingham else a Minnesota trade really yields mediocre picks. At least Gobert (if that’s the salary bulk) and Dante are legit NBA guys. But this can’t be the ‘best offer’ the media says they have.

Moment of truth coming.
What ? Me Worry ?
