This was a tough one to watch.

In 4 games, Indiana has not been allowed to be physical. OKC gets away with their typical BS. In the 4th Quarter, SGA is shooting freethrows before the ball is even inbounded.

Let the Pacers contend for a title. OKC did not deserve to win this game. PERIOD.

Those 2 away from the play fouls by Mathurin were blatant. Not like it was borderline ticky tack calls. He has complete control of Jdubbs arm who was the target of the inbound pass and the next one he straight up tackled Sga

I know refs let contact go nearer end of games but there was nothing wrong w/ those 2 calls thats on Mathurin

The finals has been super intriguing to me. This is high level basketball. How people can be complaining is beyond me. Prob the best finals so far since 2016.

I dont see anything wrong with these calls. Any Pacers got **** convos has credibility in the 1st half not these plays. I mean Nesmith is blatantly getting away w/ handchecking in the 2nd clip    so refs just let em play it out street hoops

Touch foul when SGA does a rip through that barely glances the opponent's hand: "Technically a foul. Correct call."

SGA pushes a guy to the ground and travels to take a middie: "It's the Finals, they're just letting them play."

"Gilgeous-Alexander scored 15 of the Thunder's final 16 points, including 11 in the last 2:58. That is the most points by any player in the final three minutes of a Finals win in at least 50 years, according to ESPN Research."

Pacers fan here, don't think we lost because of the refs. We had two 10 points leads and couldn't capitalize on them (especially the second one when topin missed both free throws).

This loss is on the pacers. Turner is getting back to his role player lvl. When he plays like that it's really hard for us because he is pretty much our only big.

Still think we can win this but it is going to be a lot harder now.

You can say whatever about SGA that guy made some huge shots tonight (the 3 to cut the lead to 1 and the step back when he almost lost his balance to take the lead).
When teams are so evenly matched, having the clear best player usually makes the difference.

Same non sense every series, the softest of fouls on SGA are called by the book, Kung Fu crap by Dort and push offs by SGA are open for interpretation...
Yeah, Pacers choked, but don't understand how any neurtral fan can stand this **** show, to each his own I guess...

Thought Chet did okay, still needs to get stronger if he wants to bang bodies with the likes of Turner.

None push as blatantly and hard as SGA does.

Anyway, my post was more about the rest of the officiating.

OKC’s entire gameplan is to test the refs as much as they can.

Their defensive strategy is to hack, whack, grab etc as much as they can knowing the refs can’t call everything or refuse to call it tight.

But no other team is afforded the same leniency with fouls.

It doesn’t make sense.

Tatum says hi. He does it on almost every play.

The absurdity of Lu Draymond Dort just flinging folks to the ground and nothing gets called is indicative of the murder the Thunder get away with.

just fundamentally disagree with this. I'd probably say the series is 55/45 OKC right now. There is too much consistency to the Pacers play to just write them off. And also OKC is going to make mistakes. Will the Pacers be in position to take advantage? I think they will in at minimum 2 of the 3 remaining games. It will come down to whether the Pacers capitalize on OKC errors.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Doesn't look like they really have a firm grasp on the series to me, much less figured out the formula to beat the Pacers

if it goes to a game 7 i wouldnt' trust either team due to lack of experience and pressure. It would be a legacy defining series if it happens.

i mean, can we talk about ben mathurin coming in missing 3 out of 4 freethrows and gifting the thunder 2 pts with fouls during the inbound? before the actual foulgame began, these 5 points were exactly the point difference.

For a team that's supposedly so much better than us they sure need a lot of help.

Another great game, this series has been a cracker. Cudos to OKC for coming up big in the 4th, for once in the playoffs the Pacers looked the more tired team late and SGA made so many clutch plays.

Complaining about SGA getting soft calls after this game is idiotic, he shot 2 FTs total in the first 3 quarters (on a clear foul by Turner) despite driving a lot and the Pacers playing him very physical. The next two times he got to the line was for obvious fouls by Neismith in the fourth. Then he shot 2 FTs after clear away from the ball fouls. His last 2 FTs were after an intentional foul in the last seconds.
