On the other hand, in spite of Haliburton throwing the game, SGA being gifted absurd touch fouls while OKC is mugging guys on the other end, Mathurin missing 3 FTs, and it was still winnable with 20 seconds left. Pacers blew a huge opportunity tonight, but IMO they are so clearly the better team compared to OKC that I actually expect them to come out and win in OKC by double digits. They are finally putting together good first halves which they didn't do to start the series. I think they finally play a complete game start to finish in game 5 and shell shock OKC at home.
Yeah, Hali never letting Siakam touch the ball down the stretch was crazy. Siakam was carrying them, and then didn't get a single shot in the last 10 minutes.
OKC's weakness is they run the most basic offense possible, but the Hali let them off the hook by doing the same down the stretch.
SGA is a foul merchant, but his free throws down the stretch were all fouls, due to some really undisciplined defense by Nesmith.
OKC has nothing for Siakam other than fouling him and hoping the refs don't call it. He should have had like 3 and-1s in the first quarter last night that went uncalled on his layups.
OKC is straight trash offensively. If they aren't getting free run outs off turnovers they literally cannot score reliably. They need close to 20 points off turnovers to have a chance vs Indiana typically.
And hard disagree on all those fouls. Particular the one where they called Nesmith for the most minor hand on SGA's bicep before he went into the shooting motion. You absolutely cannot call that a shooting foul with how refs let OKC defend the perimeter. Caruso and Dort 2 hand shove every ball handler in the chest to push their momentum backwards without getting called for fouls. Dort literally did it RIGHT after that where it was significantly more contact and actually rerouted the handler. That discrepancy with how OKC is allowed to be so much more physical than all their opponents while getting touch calls on the other end is baffling.

Showing hands is a pretty basic defensive strategy for avoiding fouls. The Pacers should learn it, and fast.

This can still easily go 7. Think OKC splits these two in Indy.
Once again, never thought the series was over.
I thought OKC would cownstomp them in 4 or 5.

You’re coming off biased with okc hate. The pacers are being just as physical. And get your hand out of the cookie jar if you dont want to be called there.

OKC getting favorable treatment defensively is such a bizarre take. I’ve not seen a team get away with more physicality than Indiana since the Wallace Bro pistons squad.

This pic was taken in the third quarter, not halftime as some Stephen A. fanboys tried to reason

Re: ATL - Suns Hire Ott
That was such a swing few minutes for the series & you'd think they go in favor of the Pacers. But they didn't have their same rest advantage down the stretch. Then Nesmith fouled out, to be replaced by Mathurin. Back down to Earth for the knucklehead. Turner was also atrocious.
Caruso's such a winner. Shame he played on a loser team for years. But give Chet his flowers, board. Toughed out an injury & is such a difference in his ability to switch, protect the rim, hit the glass, & attack closeouts. When he gets experience to see those 3's fall in the postseason, watch out!

Yup, that's awesome, because Houston was the interested team that could have signed Brook without a sign and trade.

Adams has missed 146 of 246 games the past 3 seasons.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Getting him back to the east would be good for the league.
