Why would you spend your time watches something as unimportant, u worthwhile as a professional basketball game that you think is rigged?

Not only you think the game is rigged, you think the lottery is rigged, you think superstars are manufactured like it's the WWE, you think ever star player wants to be in LA, Miami, or NYC.

Then you spend your time, paying attention to media outlets who intentionally keep you uninformed about the game of basketball, and they'll tell you things are rigged.

Basically, you are a fool, a mark, a chump, an idiot. You watch fake sports and everyone is in on it.

The entire NBA ecosystem is designed to manipulate and con you out of your time and money but you watch it anyway.

That's the negative thing about the NBA and a portion of the fans lol
I do have to admit that.

Yes, you don't see much of this in the NFL, MLB, NHL, etc

Fans of the losing team complaining about the refs. What is this, a day that ends in “y”?

Ok, 2 mid/small markets (OKC/Indiana) playing in the NBA Finals.
One with an American bred star (Haliburton) and the other with a foreign/Canadian bred star (SGA).
Why would they rig it in favor of one or the other?
Extend the series? Hhhmm maybe lol. *Foster*

But honestly, Pacers had the game won. In control almost the entire game. Choked at the end. Wasted way too many FTs as well, kept missing them. Bad fouls and also missed a few open 3s (probably fatiqued).

Also, SGA and OKC made big shots and FTs. Buckled up on defense. I mean Chet was out there running around with a bum ankle, too playing great defense.

Rigged probably not. Is the NBA corrupt? Absolutely!

Indiana was up 10 going into the 4th and also leading by 4 with a few minutes left. Shai made some big shots while Indiana CHOKED. Its as simple as that...

I don't think it was 'rigged' as such but OKC did get the balance of decisions in their favour. The way SGA closed out the game though meant they never had to go all out in their favour

NBA "fans" are just the worst in any sport. Amazing series so far and this is the trash that gets posted.

Meh. Pacers lost this game by leaving too many points at the FT line.

Absolutely not.

OKC was aggressive and attacked the basket and that led to foul calls in their favor. The Pacers rarely got into the paint, and even when they did they shot fadeaways.

The key going forward, especially for Haliburton and Siakam, is they will need to get past OKC's first line of defense and go up strong and create contact. Sometimes the best defense is good offense, and getting OKC's main guys in foul trouble will force OKC to play weaker players.

Didn't watch the game last night, but it boggles my mind that the NBA has had an actual referee scandal in the past, while one of the refs involved just happened to be a ref during last night's game, and yet some people think the concept of the NBA "massaging" a result is a crazy conspiracy theory.

Bunch of borderline/crappy calls? Yes.

Rigged? No.

Indy lost this one, the league didn't take it from them.

Game 5 is gonna be a gas!

By the NBA’s cheesy af rules, that wasn’t a travel.

Do I think it was a travel? Heck yes. But with the whole NBA “gather step” non-sense…it was fine by that standard.

Now push-off? Yes. SGA gets away with too many. Then again the defenses all playoffs are allowed a ton of contact, and I like it. But with that in mind, I don’t need to hear conspirators literally cry foul every time the offense gets away with one.

Re: the rebounding edge you noted, that’s even with the refs calling a number of fouls on OKC during rebound battle situations.
Pacers need to do better around the rim and manage the game better. The players are responsible for executing Coach Rick's vision.

Getting a butt wooping inside the paint and on the boards was embarrassing to watch. Then some Pacer fans want to play victim after losing.

The SGA push-off thing people are mad about...

Tatum got called for push-offs a lot early in his career. He'd actually extend his arm and push off with his hand, which is an offensive foul.

But he adjusted and stopped extending his arm. It became more of a chicken-wing with the elbow or forearm kinda doing the push-off, but his arm is kept tucked and doesn't extend.

And now it's not a foul anymore.

Point here is I'm thinking that chicken wing thing is not actually a foul per the rules. It's not like the refs don't see it and haven't heard people complaining about it. They see it and don't blow the whistle. And guys like JT and SGA are good at taking advantage.
Gonna miss KP but he's no Georges Niang.

Was there this much energy about questionable calls when okc got a lane violation on a missed FT in the final minutes of a game they lost by one?

OKC wasn't even allowed to block out in the 2nd half...The game was a mess officiating wise, but Indiana was in control and couldn't finish.
