I actually will text him LOL. He doesn't know sh*t 98% of the time and I'm not going to pretend he's a source of anything. He just hears things through the years of training these dudes.. but for example I was shocked he didn't hear a thing about Mitchell coming here during that summer of runs. Just people saying how cool it would be. I bothered him a lot that summer bc I thought FO would be all in on Spida but we all know now how Miami felt about Herro being a similar talent :nonono: :nonono:

What’s Butler going to say to KD? Can’t believe they want to pay you and not me?

So the Suns want the moon and the starlit sky

Hard to see how Phoenix reconciles the need to get salary flexibility and "win-now" pieces. In a Minny deal around Gobert, Phoenix would be on the hook for $142M in 25-26 and $150M in 26-27 just for Gobert, Booker, and Bradley Beal. Miami can give starting-calibre players (Wiggins and Rozier) + flexibility, but I don't know if that constitutes "win-now"

Dillingham and #17 or Jaquez and #20.

Miami can't give the quality of players Minnesota can, but it can beat Minny's prospects/draft picks by including Ware or Jovic or adding a second #1 pick.

that Jimmy Butler is conveniently hanging out with KD right now is the cherry on the cake of how ridiculous this all is LOL. I literally never seen them hanging out except for Team USA until now of course :P

Exactly. We wouldn’t even bother having our name plastered all over the media if KD and Kleiman had reservations about coming here. What’s he saying to KD. Pat Riley was a meaney waaaah wanted me to play more games waaaah didn’t want to give me my extension but wants to pay you waaaaaah.

Ethan just reported that Miami is similarly firm on their offer as they were at the deadline and are not "all in" from the people he has talked to. They won't budge on Ware and it will be on their terms. He also mentioned his recent conversations have made him far less confident of a deal getting done altogether than he was 24 hours ago.

For what it's worth
