If Jimmy had his way, they'd be teammates right now and we'd have Bradley Beal. That said, I feel they've met plenty of times behind the scenes in the past year.

Butler to KD addendum; they'll swear to you that their gonna get you help but what they really mean is undrafteds and internal growth
What they really mean is that they can point to a track record where if you can perform as a top 10 player in the NBA, you can make it to the finals at an equal or higher rate than any other top 10 player in the NBA.

And that we'll find you more Strus' martin's Vincent's and they'll definitely give you the supplementation that you need to get it done as a top 10 player.

As a consistent top 10 player? Yes probably.

MartyCONLONNN wrote:Ethan just reported that Miami is similarly firm on their offer as they were at the deadline and are not "all in" from the people he has talked to. They won't budge on Ware and it will be on their terms. He also mentioned his recent conversations have made him far less confident of a deal getting done altogether than he was 24 hours ago.
For what it's worth
classic 5 guys gassing the fanbase one day just to walk it back the next. Ethan has known the Heat do not want to include Ware on a KD deal, the only thing that has changed in 24 hours is the big dogs nationally were talking up the Heat so 5 Reasons, Barry & Co were riding their wave like they always do and now they have to temper expectations.

No idea. Unless I am reading it wrong, RealGM's draft info says the Wolves have 0 1sts after this year through 2031. So the max they could offer is Dillingham, Shannon, and #17.

We getting a top 14 player?
Tyler Herro an All-Star as the 51st best player. Not sure I agree or disagree on the number but that Cavs series really clobbered his value.
Of course Bill Simmons possibly the biggest Heat hater going and is part of the ranking team.

Tyler Herro in the right role is a very good player. Defensive limitations aside, he’d be a quality second option if we had KD. Would still love to get him off ball more, as I think that’s when he’s at his best. Catch and shoot, off the curl, run some of those old Wayne Ellington and Ray Allen sets for him.

If we miss out on KD and he goes to Minny it should signal the official start to the Anthony Edwards acquisition campaign. They will void themselves of young assets and give themselves a finite window. Time to start building the war chest.
