JRich's son looks like a potential rotation NBA player but you don't waste a top 10 pick for him. He'll be there in the 20s.

I think the better question is: what pick is too high for ish to talk himself into Jace?

I think that 1+2 are out and MAYBE 3 but anything after that, all bets are off. No matter where we pick. Even if we somehow got #4, there's a solid chance he take him. Ishbia knows his father personally and has for like 20 years. He's a Sun if he's there.

I know I'm placing money on him being our pick the second those odds are released and if we're in striking range.

I talked about Jase Richardson about a month ago and I agreehat we are gonna try to draft him.

The most important thing is that he is really talented and I love his potential as defensive PG with potential on offense. He has been compared to Derek Fisher.

I would love to draft him somewhere around #15, probably he is available later.

I'd be fine with it if we do end up doing a deal with the wolves and take him at #17

Dillingham is sh it

I wouldn't want him either, I'm just explaining what it means.

This would be my guess for the Wolves deal that would get it done from the Suns' FO's perspective

Basically three teams would do a trade plus extension and the other five would take him for a year.

I wonder how that impacts the actual trade packages.

Obviously alot. KD is making sure he gets to where he wants to go. You cam probably assume the Wolves offer is just Randle and filler now, without even including DDV.

Unless it comes with two unprotected first rounders or their current 2025 pick and a future unprotected, then pass. The Suns need to recoup lost first rounders with any KD trade.

As it stands he will be traded for the best package and his extension is not really a concern for this team.

EDIT: Again we are not interested in Randle

It means the team saying they are willing to take him without an extension are offering minimum rip the suns off offers using "KD could leave in 1 year" as low ball reason.

While the ones offering extension are the ones without assets.

It's a concern for the team trading for him, which in turn effects what they would offer for him.

Best package available will.get KD. Wolves are the leaders and I'm not surprised.

Good chance they offered Gobert.

Yes. That is definitely accurate. He'd have to be willing to come here to sign an extension; however, we could get him, let him play out his existing deal, and let him walk. That takes his money off our books.

I don't want him but realistically he is attractive to a "win now" player for front office and he would plug a gaping hole at C although his brick hands and age concern me.

I don’t see him as an attractive “win-now” player. He has never helped a team get better. He’s always just been that decent defensive center. He USE to be a great shot blocker. Those days are long gone. And his rebounding numbers have gone down. He looking like a player closer to retirement than someone who can impact a game defensively now. Unless he’s 2 feet away from the basket, he’s essentially useless. Wolves can keep him and his germ spreading lanky fingers.

DDV is duplicative with Grayson here and one of them should be sent elsewhere. We could see something like:

Suns in: Gobert/Dillingham/Cole Anthony/MN #17/future protected 1st from Orlando

MN in: KD

Orlando in: Donte Divincenzo

Return to Phoenix Suns
