Sure feels like Phoenix trying to leverage and squeeze us. Hope we can get this done without giving up the farm.

Would love to retain Niko and/or Ware in this. I’ll be sad if Niko is gone, but I get that’s the price of being a Heat fan a lot of the time.

Houston needs FVV’s deal and they are already said to want to extend him. They really like his leadership with the young core. No deal can be made without him. Spurs can send Vassell, Barnes, 14th pick but the Suns really want Sochan in order to counter the potential Jovic and JJJ offer with our 20th pick. Spurs might not even be interested in extending Durant either

Note this part of Shams post
the Suns have made clear to six-to-eight seriously interested teams that they will make the best deal for the franchise – even outside of his preferred list

KD’s agent will certainly play defense and get him to one of his 3 preferred destinations. The question at this point is how badly do the Spurs or Rockets want him?

Just can’t see teams taking that big of a gamble but you never know

Let’s get real here. KD is all about the money first and foremost. This is nothing like a Butler situation. KD might have a few preferences but at the end of the day as long as he gets paid he will be happy and show up. The Suns will take the best offer and KD will smile all the way to the bank.

The hang up is literally Ware, that’s it.

Lakers twitter really wants Wiggins. Hachimura and Vincent for Wiggs is a good deal if things fall through for Durant or better yet. If we trade Jovic and keep Wiggins out of deal we can make this separate deal and have Hachimura take Jovic’s place and have Vincent back as our starting PG with Mitchell.

Yuk. Big pass on Hachimura/Vincent.

Really? Even if it opens up 30 mil more in cap space next year? Ok guess staying stuck with Wiggins.

Not sure who is available in 2026, but iirc, a lot of the big names had already signed extensions or are likely to (Doncic).

I can't stand Wiggins, so I am happy to move him at some point before the season.

if that's the case I rather throw in another 1st. at least you have a core in place for the next 4 seasons that is pretty damn talented.. that's enough time to recoup draft capital down the road.

what exactly is holding back Spurs and Houston from blowing this out of the water? because if he wants to commit to them they easily trump any of our little offers. did the article even mention why those 2 were unlikely?

Neither can shed money and they don’t want to part with assets pretty much

I did say yesterday that if Suns come out of this with Claxton, Jovic, JJJ, and pick they could hold there heads up really high.
