They love (no pun intended) Kevins up there in Minnesota.

Lol

Kevin Martin also played for Minnesota at the end of his career for 2.5 years, and they had Kevin McHale as their coach. An all Kevin team would be pretty nasty:

Kevin Johnson
Kevin Martin
Kevin Durant
Kevin McHale
Kevin Garnett

Bench:
Kevin Porter
Kevin Porter Jr
Kevin Duckworth
Kevin Love
Kevin Willis
Kevin Saraphin
Kevin Huerter

Other names:

Mike Conley
Michael Cooper
Michael Jordan
Michael Beasley
Michael Olowokandi

Bench:
Michael Finley
Michael Redd
Mike Bibby
Mike Miller
Michael Cage
Michael Adams

Bill Sharman
Bill Melchioni
Billy Cunningham
Bill Walton
Bill Russell

Bench:
Bill Bradley
Bill Lambier
Bill Cartwright
Bill Bridges
Bill Hanzlik

Bob Cousy
Bob Danridge
Robert Horry
Bob Pettit
Robert Parish

Bench:
Bob Lanier
Bob McAdoo
Bob Love
Bobby Jones

James Harden
Jimmy Butler
James Worthy
Lebron James
James Edward

Bench:
Jim Pollard
Jim Jackson
Jim King
James Posey
Jimmy Walker
James Johnson

Another good one:

Chris Paul
Chris(tian) Braun
Chris Mullin
Chris Webber
Chris Bosh

Coach: Chris Finch

Bench
Christian James (CJ) McCollum
Chris Ford
Chris Gatling
Chris Mills
Chris Kaman
Christian Laettner

This is good!

This is why the heat will always be relevant. Cause even when they have nothing going for them big names want to play there. People always wanna compare organization like Orlando to the heat because they play in the same state but it's just not comparable when a team that just had one of there worst season in the last 20 years and don't really have much assets or great talent on the roster still is drawing a hof to play there....

Let's be really even if kd went to Miami they still aren't a championship contender, but if he did go to Houston or San Antonio that's a way different story. He would be dumb to choose the heat over the other 2.

KD owns a condo just outside the Kaseya Center arena. It's in one of the high rises. Hes owned it for many years.

KD, Bam, and Ware can make some noise.

In that scenario what does Phoenix get for trading KD to Miami?

The deal would look something like this:

Andrew Wiggins
Duncan Robinson (20M expiring)
2025 1st Round Pick (20th overall)
Nikola Jovic
Jaime Jaquez Jr

For

Kevin Durant

I believe that will be the best offer we'll see out of Miami. And I honestly think it's pretty good considering, since the Suns get a 3 and D replacement wing in Wiggins, a 20M expiring contract for flexibility since they are hard up money wise, and a 1st round pick along with 2 young players. We'll see if they can find better for a 37 year old on an expiring with a destination list for extending only including 3 teams. Like some have said, I think people will be surprised with how little they get for him. But I also think it likely that a 3rd team would be involved somehow as well in this scenario.

Posted this in the Bane trade thread, now that Memphis gets one of Suns' picks, I wonder if Grizz can be engaged to trade that and JJJ to Suns in a KD to Spurs multi team trade?

Looks like Rockets are out to "costs" go figure. Cheap organization does cheap things. NO surprise there.

I'd rather keep Durant than take the trash offers most propose.

Miami. He’s a superstar still. Superstars would rather play there than San Antonio or Minnesota.

Why does 95% of the players want to go to Miami or LA?

No state tax
Nightlife
Endorsements
Women/Strip Clubs
Weather

That about sums it up. Not about the product on the court if it was he’d be angling to go to Minnesota.

It doesn’t seem to be a possibility at the moment but would love to see him go to Nuggets with a lineup of:

Murray
Braun
KD
Gordon
Jokic

The Suns are better off keeping KD for the season for a playoff run then letting him expire than taking that offer.

It is what it is...anything more than that and I don't want KD. It's highly debatable whether trading for a 37 year old with Butler already gone is even smart in the first place. But I doubt KD will stay with the Suns for another game at this point, he's going to force his way out somehow like all these guys manage to do.

Rockets are the only team that makes sense, so of course it wont be them somehow :)

I concur.
Ware is the key piece. Riley won't trade him for KD but realgmers will include Ware in all of their proposals.

Love KD, but who cares? Won't move the needle anywhere he goes, who wants to see him play on a play in team for 50 games that has 0 depth?

Sure we'll take last year's 6th leading scorer in the league off your hands, but not if it's going to cost us the 5th runner-up in ROY votes from one of the weakest rookie classes in years.

You can have Duncan Robinson though.

Has Memphis been involved in any talks for Kevin Durant?

KD is headed back to golden state. Draymond to the Pistons via PHX. Giannis to the Spurs.

Are the Suns also getting something back in this trade or is this purely an altruistic endeavor for them?
