Would like to know which package people think is the best for PHO (disconsider the cap/tax situation, BKN would be the facilitator) between KD destinations:
HOU: Green, Smith Jr., #10
MIA: Rozier, Robinson, #20, '29 MIA 1st (top-4 protected)
MIN: Gobert, Dillingham
SAS: Vassell, Barnes, #14, '27 ATL 1st (unprotected)
Rank the best Durant package

Re: Rank the best Durant package
Houston or San Antonio are definitely the best packages. But seeing that Desmond Bane just went for five first round picks makes me think the offer for KD may end up being slightly more than any of these. I think Houston’s offer is the best but since Green is repetitive with Booker and Beal, perhaps the Spurs offer is a better fit since Vassell and Barnes can play the 3 and 4 positions

Re: Rank the best Durant package
that seems clearly to be SAS to me. Vassell and Book are a nice combo in backcourt that would fit, #14 should get a good player in this draft, Atlanta first unprotected could easily be lotto which pushes that package over the top. Barnes expiring but can still start and play minutes and phoenix seems to not want to go full rebuild.
If they love smith the HOU package has an argument but i think green is worse fit with book and the 4 pick difference isn't worth hawks 2027.
if PHO wants a C as bad as some say instead of gobert they could make SAS deal a 3 team with brooklyn and send out bad $ for Claxton, with nets giving them one of their later firsts to move up to #14 and the the PHO starting lineup would actually be half way decent too. Clax, Barnes, Book, Vassell and presumably Beal or oneale, though at this point they may as well just banish beal to siberia.

Re: Rank the best Durant package
The Rockets package is solid. The Suns get a solid young player and a top 10 pick. I think Green is would get rerouted to a 3rd team for different players. The Spurs package is also very interesting. The Hawks may not be very good in 2027 and that pick could very well be in the lottery. That, along with the 14th pick and Vassell is a move that. I think the Spurs is actually the best due to that future Hawks pick and Vassell being a better fit than Green. The Timberwolves package is meh and the Heat package isn't that exciting ether. With that said, I'm not sure if the Rockets or Spurs are going to pay this much for KD and I also heard that the Heat might be willing to give up Kel'El Ware, which will also change the rankings of those packages.

i think you are dead on with Brooklyn as facilitator, I think the SAS package is best because of that as mentioned above.
Jordan Ott coached Claxton in Brooklyn, he'd be a very good fit as a rim running center and his age/timeline fits exactly with the booker/vassell contracts. I think that's the Phoenix ticket right there, plus the Hawks pick in 2027 to dream on.
gobert may help the most for 1 or 2 years but that's too short term of a move, miami offer is weakest here by far. Houston offer worth considering but SAS is the easy pick for me.
