I wonder how any GM other than Sam Presti has a job in the NBA when RealGM is full of more qualified, knowledgable and experienced (in 2K) GMs.

Obviously, everyone's opinion in here is just an opinion, but don't act like this isn't a risky trade by the Magic. GM's lose their jobs by overpaying like this.

Think the Pacers making the Finals is going to make a lot of teams in the East thinking they're not that far off from that level. Add in Boston being w/o Tatum and the Bucks w/o Lillard and a team like Orlando probably feels if they're healthy now all they have to worry about is a healthy Cleveland team. I dont think the Magic fear the Knicks or the Pacers at all

The only pick that hurts is that Phoenix pick. That could be a great pick. The others would be Magic picks right in the middle of Suggs’, Franz’s, Paolo’s, and Bane’s primes.

Honestly depends on what we get for Durant and how the off-season goes. Could be a low seed. I don't see them failing so poorly though that they end up with top 3 odds in the lottery though.

I think every board overrates picks. I was defending the Gobert/Mikal trades while 99% of people were reacting this same way.

I'll take a 26 year old 22/5/5 guy on 48/41/90 to a team desperate for shooting.

We still need point guard play, but I think we should or could use our MLE to get that in addition to already having Suggs/Bane/AB/Franz/Paolo all handle the ball.

Yea the only eyebrow raiser here should be including the 2026 Suns pick while they're trying to trade Durant.

I think people are ignoring some pretty important context around the trade. The Magic have quite a few talented young players, including in positions/roles that overlap and the Eastern conference looks to be pretty wide open next season with the uncertainty around the Celtics and Cavs rosters going forward and the Lillard-less Bucks.

Considering how the 2nd apron is like a hard cap, teams should be valuing good cheap young talent more than ever now...
