Solid trade by the Magic. They get a shooter and ball handler in Bane, who should mesh well with Suggs in the backcourt.

Great move by Orlando. A Suggs/Bane backcourt is gonna be a pain in the ass.

Bane is better, but still a lot more expensive than Bridges. That puts the deal in perspective and maybe it can shut up some of the eternally miserable on this board. It’s about time.

we don't need the otherizing and backseat moderating in the bold. please just stick to your points. -JVG

There's another team that will be better than the Knicks next year.

Knicks already peaked. Now begins the decline.

Question is, blow it up now, get ahead of it, or tread water in upscale mediocrity for the next 3 years.

Can Bane defend good though? Honestly don’t know that side of his game.
But yeah, makes the Bridges ask more digestable.

Gross - We gave up more for bridges than they did for Bane. Who is a significantly better player.

I’d rather Banes on the Knicks 100/100 times

Yeah, his 3 point shooting and shot creation would have be huge for us.

Had JJJ made an All-NBA team, he would have been eligible to sign a five-year extension worth up to $345.3 million this offseason. Since he didn’t, the Grizzlies can offer him no more than a four-year extension worth $146.8 million. That’s basically OG salary slot. Knicks could potentially do a OG for JJJ swap and follow up with Mitch for Donte swap in some 3way trade.

Bane is so much better than Mikal. Superior ball handler, shooter, scorer, can attack the paint and isn’t afraid of contact. Good trade for Orlando. I’m sure they still have more picks left than we do and their core is still young so they have improvements they can make internally especially with someone like Banchero who is still very young and will keep getting better
