I can believe people are hell bent on picks that are going to most likely be in the 20s. Only really cause they got was that 2026 weird Phoenix pick swap.

Like stop looking at the wording and actually break it down. It's not bad at all. For Christ sake pick 16 this year is not unprotected. 2029 is a pick swap the magic still get a first rounder.

Love Bane, he’s a great fit for Orlando offensively and they can make up for his lack of defensive tools. He’s tough and an elite shooter.
For my Grizz, whom a lot of us have been pissed at since the trade deadline, bravo. We just loaded up the warchest in one single move. Should get a solid prospect at 16 and a few of the futures, especially next year Suns, could be juicy.
Also, I’m not sure this doesn’t make our team a smidge better….KCP is a great fit and Anthony gives us some more depth. Offense was 100% not the problem last year and hopefully KCP can help out defensively.

I think every board overrates picks. I was defending the Gobert/Mikal trades while 99% of people were reacting this same way.

I'll take a 26 year old 22/5/5 guy on 48/41/90 to a team desperate for shooting.

We still need point guard play, but I think we should or could use our MLE to get that in addition to already having Suggs/Bane/AB/Franz/Paolo all handle the ball.

You guys are a 2nd apron team today.

Obviously declining the combined $13 million owed to Harris, Joseph, and Houstan helps get ya outta that but I doubt you all use the MLE or if you do, obviously will only be a tiny part of it.

That Anthony Davis and Paul George trade has really set the stranded of teams demanding for many picks. At least those trades you could argue they are all nba caliber players.

Prior to that superstars were barely fetching teams more than 2 first round picks. This 2020 decade has really set market on 1st round picks. Honestly by 2030 I will expect 60 percent to not have control over any of their picks. Guys like Beal Bridges and bane are getting your more than 4 first round picks.

If I am the bucks and are ever looking to trade Gianass I would demand at the bare minimum 6 1sts from a team.

Bane is a very good SG, but this is Mikal Bridges/Rudy Gobert-level overpay.

I think Bane fits with the Magic system since he isn't a ball-dominant player. The Magic are betting Banchero as the #1 option and Wagner and Bane being 2-3 depending on the day is good enough to make a Pacer-like run to the Finals.

I can't really blame the Magic for making this move, but I don't know how they were convinced they could give up so much.

gobert at least changed the identity of the entire team. absolute elite defender.

bridges and bane are good role players that fit but wont give that same level of gobert impact. in fact, knicks defense got worse this year.

The magic already have an identity defensively. They need elite offense/ shooting and that is what bane is. They most likely aren't done tooling this roster as well. They are a sure fire top 4 team in the east, they just need to stay healthy.

Those picks will most likely be in the 20 range and end up being players of little consequence so who cares. Bane is very good and fills a huge need for Orlando.

Think the Pacers making the Finals is going to make a lot of teams in the East thinking they're not that far off from that level. Add in Boston being w/o Tatum and the Bucks w/o Lillard and a team like Orlando probably feels if they're healthy now all they have to worry about is a healthy Cleveland team. I dont think the Magic fear the Knicks or the Pacers at all

They don't the magic have played the Knicks & pacers really well the last couple of season. The magic went 7 games and almost knocked out the cavs last playoffs.

The time is now for Orlando. They can go deep next playoff if they stay healthy. Mark my words
